We decided to spoil ourselves for once, so we went for an appartment as they are called. It was really lovely! Huge sitting room with a grand fireplace, a seperate bedroom, and a small, but perfectly argreeable bathroom. High ceilings and lovely, wooden floor. The only thing to be aware of, are the stairs. There is no lift as this...

It has historical smell, very fine breakfast, although the furniture is making noises, you can feel the history of house. Nice town, very good prices, super walks and rides on lake. Unique restaurant and rooms.

Interesting place to stay, but be aware that if you're getting on a bit (like me) you will have to drag your heavy suitcase up 80 stairs in semi darkness from street to bedroom and back down again when you leave. There is no porter. Also, the en-suite was so smelly that we had the extractor fan running 24 hours/day....

We stayed here for two nights last August, having rode a motorbike from the UK. It was in the middle of a heatwave. It was wonderful and really cheap - a suite of rooms was £50 GBP including a sumptuous breakfast and it was an amazingly atmospheric place. No TV though and not for those that want a banging night...

Could be so much better and successful, as has wonderful building, unique in the area and a lot of unusual assets, views, history plus good safe parking and very peaceful in the evenings and early morning. The problem is that there are too many day trippers that are easy money for the restaurant and the quality is poor as they...

Decided to stay as we had spent a day on the nearby lakes a few years ago. I am glad to say we have been impressed. Yes it is old, it's a castle. Yes the bed squeaked but again it is a character building. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was a problem. The food in the restaurant was...

I had my wedding here recently. What an awesome place!! The surroundings are beautiful and the castle itself is stunning inside! The staff were extremely helpful, flexible and accommodating. The food was great and the service was phenomenal. If you are looking for a nice place to get away, I highly recommend it. And if you are looking for an...

Overall, extremely pleased. We opted to pay the extra 12-15 Euros to stay in the luxury apartments, which were indeed luxurious. Beautiful furniture, high ceilings and ample space. The bathroom was fine and water pressure hot and strong. Reception staff friendly, efficient and helpful (English/German speaking). The location amazing! The restaurant is best avoided apart from the brilliant breakfast. If...

An hotel in an old castle between two lakes in the "perl of west Poland" sounds cool! The atmosphere is intriguing. At the end... you enter your room and poetry ends. The rooms (and bathrooms, too) should be restored: the furnitures are old and poor, and the air is a little bit musty.
