Charming home, cosy atmosphere, neat and clean room, great breakfast (and French and other 'life' lessons by our charming host Laurence :-)) delicious bread, countless number of 'confitures', good coffee, yoghurt, cheese, ham..., and a place to also just hang out at the end of the day, with a cup of tea.., we'll come back... Very close to the beach, and close to a couple of restaurants. Calm...

We came to Villa Boreas on recommendation - and it couldn't have been lovelier! All the rooms were beautifully decorated with en suites, and Laurence was very welcoming - her breakfasts were wonderful! Absolutely nothing bad to say- would highly recommend this B&B. It was particularly enjoyable as we were in a big group so had the cottage to ourselves - wonderful!. Wissant was a lovely little village with plenty of places to eat and drink. Just trying to work out when I can return for another fab weekend at Villa Boreas.

Our fourth visit here and it still just as lovely as it was the first time. Laurence makes the most amazing breakfast, all fresh and gorgeous. The best coffee with lots of bread, croissants and orange juice. The bedrooms are something else, cosy and elegantly decorated. The living room is comfortable and sitting in the garden on a sunny day is perfect. Wissant itself is beautiful, lovely beach with restaurants and shops. Thank you Laurence, will be back very soon.

We stayed at Villa Boreas for a long weekend to celebrate a 50th birthday. There were eight of us so we had the whole villa to ourselves. The villa was spacious, clean, well equipped and each bedroom had its own en suite bathroom. We were able to take our own food and drink and there was a large fridge and microwave for us to use. The lounge area is very welcoming and cosy with very comfy sofas. There are several cafe/restaurants in town, which all seemed very nice. From the cottage it is just a ten minute stroll to the seafront with a selection of cafes, bars and shops and a beautiful sandy beach. Continental style breakfast was served to us each morning which was very welcome. We would definitely go there again for a chilled and relaxing weekend with friends.

We have had several long weekends in the pas de Calais usually staying in a Logis. For a change this year we booked this B&B after looking at the reviews. We were not disappointed, the rooms have all been recently refurbished and are very comfortable with an excellent bathroom. The breakfast is good and Laurence is most helpful. The house is in a fantastic spot just far enough out of town to be peaceful but only a couple of minutes walk from Wissant centre. Don't miss the Friday night market we bought some wonderful cheese and a paella for tea eaten on the picnic the in the villa's garden. All in all a weekend to remember for all the right reasons.

Having never been to Northern France before, we found Wissant by chance as a place to stay for Easter weekend. Having found Villa Boreas on Trip advisor with very good reviews, we contacted Laurence direct to book a room and we were not disappointed. The renovated barn was perfectly located just outside the village centre and close to the beach. Our bedroom was of a good size and well decorated, the downstairs layout was roomy and comfortable with a large dining area for breakfast. Throughout the weekend, Laurence was a perfect host and we really enjoyed our stay (despite the weather) and will definately be going back and would highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Villa Boreas on our way back from Epernay to the UK. The guest house is beautifully finished throughout with the communal lounge / dining area at ground floor. The bedrooms are at first floor level and ours was very comfortable and recently refurbished (we'd guess) with modern en suite facilities. The host, Laurence prepares a delicious continental breakfast every day which we thoroughly enjoyed. Location wise, the guest house is walking distance from the beach and numerous restaurants, as well as being just a short drive (circa 20 minutes) from Calais. We'd certainly stay at Villa Boreas again whether as part of a longer trip in France or just a weekend break.
