Stayed here for one night. Wissant is a pretty but quiet village that seemed to close around 9.30pm. Only a short walk to a loveky beach. I had a triple room (No. 11) comprising double bed and mezzanine/attic room with camp bed. Room was quiet except for ducks in pond at back of hotel! Also, I think I was out...

If you can negotiate the rather daunting one way street system you will find this unpretentious hotel. The welcome was effusive and warm. The room was comfortable and clean. Sadly we arrived on a day when the restaurant was closed.

Wissant is a nice village, with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The beach was crowded, until the tide went out, so improved later in the day. The modt magnificent sun set can be seen from the Promenade. Hotels seem to open for food later in the day. This hotel is in a good location and there was...

We arrive on Wednesday at 6.15 and the bar was closed, as was the restaurant we booked in and the reception closed. Went to our room no2 and it was small, the toilet came half way across the bathroom door, you had to turn sideways to get in the shower, and ly on the bed to watch the tv check...

Wissant is a delightful village. On arrival it was difficult to find a member of staff. Registration included a ten euro supplement for a small dog which is a growing practice, considering that the hotel does nothing substantial for the animal. The hotel shut down in the early evening so it was not possible to obtain any sort of drink...

Very central clean and tidy with 10 rooms in the main house plus an annex which was not open but with a terrace overlooking a small river. Only 2 rooms occupied when we visited and their restaurant was closed for that evening. Breakfast was very pleasant (do it yourself) with fresh bread etc, orange juice and nice coffee.

It was a late booking so when we arrived at 10:30 pm there was a note telling us to pick up a key at a different address. We drove to that location and then waited 2 hrs at 2 locations and the never showed up so we slept in our car. Would advise NOT to book this hotel. It was...

Had to spend an unexpected nights stay in Calais , so looked at map and decided upon Wissant , and what a treat ! Picture box village with a stunning beach and lots of history The hotel had a warm welcome, a basic but clean room , and although extremely cold outside the rooms heating was more than sufficient. But...

Stopped in wissant for 3 days on way back from holiday. Main reasons were we wanted a couple of days to chill out before heading back to Blighty on the ferry. Wissant is a beautiful sleepy town which is tiny. Great beach, Boulanger and charcuterie. Loads of character. Le vivier is a friendly family run guest house/hotel. Rooms were little...

This is actually 3 hotels in one - one in the centre of town where we stayed; one just behind on the river and another a short walk away so make sure you find out which one you'll be staying in. We chose to stay in the centre and arrived early afternoon booking a table for dinner that night. We...
