#2 of 5 B&Bs / Inns in Dores
Pottery House is a modern, friendly and comfortable B&B overlooking Loch Ness. Our rural location is on the edge of the village of Dores and yet Inverness and many Highland tourist spots are within easy reach. Our rooms are large, our en-suites luxurious and our breakfasts extensive and include freshly baked home made rolls, and preserves. Plus one of the top rated Highland restaurants, The Dores Inn, is just a 5 minute walk away.

I cannot find enough superlatives to describe this B&B. Beautifully furnished, quality linen, the cleanest bathroom I have ever been in, high end fittings, home made cakes in the room, home made breads and jam at breakfast where you can watch the birds having theirs. There are no evening meals but the Dores Inn, a few minutes walk up the road, is very good but you need to book. John and Glen you have thought of everything, I have stayed in 5 star hotels which don't hold a candle to you.

What a fantastic stay. Can’t believe we found this place.Fabulous large room spotlessly clean. The information book in our room was superb as we used it daily and had some incredible experiences. Welcome cupcakes were delicious. Breakfast was fantastic watching the birds on the feeders. A different menu every morning including freshly baked bread with home made jams and marmalade’s. The red squirrel in the gardens were a bonus. Looked everyday to spot the pine martins but they hid from me but got lucky and saw one as we were leaving the property on our final day! Thank you John and Glen you have a beautiful B & B and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
