At the end we ended up paying 5$ more, because they charge extra for booking.com which doesn't make any sense.. If you would have booked via mail or facebook it would have been free of charge.. 41$ for a veerry basic triple room without a bathroom is not a good price at all, when you think about what you get...

Spent a few nights there in one of their dorm rooms. It's one of the most affordable hostels in the area with a nice location, very close to the Apoyo's public beach and is surrounded with wildlife (birds, monkeys, etc.) They have a nice chill out area with hammocks and a small kitchen that suits backpackers needs.. when we needed...

I really liked this place because of the emplacement, you walk 1 minute and you have a perfect little beach in this perfect volcano water :) this was my first experience in a dorm and this was so nice; confortable, clean and only 4 beds ! They have amazing staff and prices! I would come back for sure!

I spent three days at the Peace Project hostel at the beginning of my trip and came back for more! If you're tired after travelling a lot this is the perfect place to relax - chill in a hammock with a book or gaze up at the lush trees filled with monkeys! The hostel staff are also very friendly and...

Me and my GF were told we had to visit apoyo from people in Grenada we ended going to all the hostels and ended up as peace project last. I'm very glad it was defiantly the cheapest but more importantly the atmosphere we were looking for! They have kayaks to borrow there and decently priced beer. They staff was awesome...

Not a lot to say, pretty basic but it does the job especially if you're a good group. Also for a good cause and the cheapest place around. Including cheaper restaurants and bars here. However psycho dog but harmless just hyper. The kitchen is just an oven with nothing to go with it..?

Stayed here for two nights. We had our own private dorm, which was great. The location is lovely, especially when you're looking for a peaceful area. Right next to a public beach. Set your expectations, it's definitely a project in progress. Don't expect a fancy backpack hostel. + friendly staff. Plenty of Nica volunteers and some foreign employees. + location...

The dorms are basic and clean, the food is good, and the atmosphere is just amazing. All the staff are friendly and very helpfull. Also all the proceeds go to the NGO side of the peaceproject, so you can feel good about spending money there as well. Special thanks to Andrea, Theo, and Kristel

Look no further than The Peace Project for the cheapest dorms on Laguna de Apoyo. Included with your accommodation is Wi-Fi that reaches the entire property, drinking water & coffee during the day, billiards, book exchange, kayak borrowing, a kitchen by the dorms, & resident howler monkeys! Who doesn't love all those amenities for $10 per person? Now, combine this...

The Peace Project is a dream place where you wake up with the sound of monkeys and squirrels throwing their food from the trees. It is a place where the day begins with delicious pancakes and fruits and with a kayak to go around the laguna. The food is perfect and there are many vegetarian options (I recommend the hamburger)....
