Upon arriving at Florence Springs (a 5 minute drive from Tenby town) we were met in the car park by one of the rangers. Such a friendly chap. He tools us to our yurt, named waterwynch after one of the nearby beaches. Wow. A secluded private space, close enough to the log hut and a 2 minute walk to the shower block, but private enough that we felt miles away from everyone else, and comfortable to allow our children to wander around the yurt in the garden space we had. The ranger showed us inside out yurt, and it truly was beautiful. Clean, spacious, and there was a welcome bag on the table. This contained a lovely bottle of wine, water, tea lights, firelighters, teabags/coffee/uht milk. It also had disposable dish clothes, scoureres and 2 tea towels to use during the stay. The bedding was clean and 2 wooden boxes houses the bedding for the futons if you required additional sleeping space. The yurt had a clear circle in the roof, perfect for stargazing from bed. The ranger showed us how the log burning fire inside the yurt operated and explained where we could get wood etc although there was a starter park ready for us. Outside of the yurt was a firepit with benches, an outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner camping stove and a full cupboard with everything you could ever need!!! All utensils, cups, plates ... More than we have at home! There is a compost toilet - which really isn't as bad as we thought it would be. You quickly get used to it. You have the option of using the main toilets if you'd prefer. The outdoor shower was surprisingly warm and a great way to wake up in the morning! Last but not least, the hot tub. It took a while to get the hang of lighting the fire but after the first attempt it became easier. It takes around 2hrs to heat up and then gets hot quickly, but what a spectacular experience, sitting under the stars in a lovely warm hot tub on a clear night. We even used it in the rain! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. With covid still present we were worried how things would be on the site but we needn't be, antibacterial gel everywhere, hand washing facilities, and the most relaxed caring staff you could wish to meet. We have already booked again for next year, but trying to the treehouse next time!!!

We stayed in The Cuckoo's nest treehouse from Friday to Monday....and wow! What a treat. We absolutely loved it. It was so perfect even though on the Saturday was the worst weather ever! Didn't stop raining and was very windy, we still had an amazing time.
The rangers are fabulous, so helpful, they greeted us in the car park on our arrival and showed us to our different accommodation ( we were there with friends- two other families. 1 staying in the other treehouse 'Pyatts nest' and the other studying in a safari tent.)
The treehouse itself was fabulous and the kids had a whale of a time playing around the outside of the treehouse, there is just so much space for them to run around! They especially loved the slide fown from the balcony! Inside the treehouse is also very spacious, we went with our 17 year old and a 9 and 7 year old. Our older boy had a double room to himself and then the two young ones had two a room with two single beds. My partner and I used the sofa bed in the lounge and it was surprisingly comfortable-we slept well!
There is a compost toilet outside the treehouse and also an outside shower, we went to the main block mostly and it was very clean and showers were nice and hot!
We couldn't check in until 5 so we went into Heatherton world of activities for the day beforehand, its literally a few minutes away. You get a 10% discount there if you're staying at florence springs. Just a 5 min drive into tenby town too so perfect location!
We will definatley be returning as we had such an amazing time there.

Just come back from a really relaxing holiday in the yurt. Everything you need is there to totally relax and go back to basics. Make sure you take the following; washing up liquid, couple of lounger chairs, towels, downloads on Netflix etc to chill in bed at the end of the night as there’s no TV, emergency power pack, couple of china plates if you don’t like eating off plastic plates. I took my dressing gown too and didn’t get any strange looks walking up to the hut in the mornings, it got chilly on a night time and nice to put on when you have got out of the hotub. Flip flops are a must. We took all of this and used it all. Hot tub, on first night light a couple of hours before but don’t make the mistake doing the same the second night it takes half as long to heat up and we were boiling. We visited lovely places eg Cardigan, Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wiseman’s Bridge, Narbeth. There’s a compost loo but it’s fine, use the main toilet block for no2s if you wish….sometimes I couldn’t make it up there and it was fine, no smell in compost loo. All the staff really welcoming and helpful. Wi-Fi signal at main block only but it’s no worries as you’re there on holibobs ….can see teenagers getting bored there tho! Not us, we had an excellent time. Hope the tips help and enjoy this totally relaxing stay.

I've been here 3 times now, first a yurt, then a hobbit house and we've just left the tree house. We just love this place! Treehouse prices are very steep so we won't be able to return to it annually for our Tenby holidays, but it was such a perfect stay. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. Just a little feedback, for the price we pay I think customers would appreciate a pack of firelighters per day opposed to one pack per entire stay, or at least reduce your onsite price. Having to maintain an indoor fire, outdoor fire pit and a hot tub we did run out fairly quickly.  Being charged £3 a pack I thought was a little high, especially as we picked up a few boxes in tenby town for £1 a box.

We have just had a week away in a hideaway (Henry’s moat) and it was amazing. A real special environment …The place is so clean and well kept, peaceful and friendly. All the staff are so welcoming and helpful , but Sam is such a great guy! They have thought of everything .. no wifi so we got to spend real quality time with the children, the wood fired hot tub was lovely.. the shower block is clean and showers are hot , Also there is so much to do in the area from activity centres, wildlife parks , beaches, waterfalls or just relaxing in the woods with the campfire going. Definitely worth the drive all the way from Suffolk! Xx

Amazing time at Pyatts Nest , rangers are brilliant so helpful and even put the bunk beds together for me . So pretty and peaceful . The showers in the main block really hot and the hot tub gets super hot Make sure all food gets locked away as most ours got eaten by the squirrel 🤣including the tomato ketchup . My children loved the slide and the treehouse stays very warm all night even with the log burner not going . I would have loved a mirror in our treehouse to do my make up but apart from that everything was great . Lots to do in the area also for kids , wildlife park , dinosaur park and heatherton world of adventures highly recommended !

Florence springs was the bee's knees. What a wonderful experience. First time glampers and the camp had thought of everything we would need. It was so much fun. The yurt was fantastic, once we got the hang of the woodburner it was so warm and cozy. The hot tub was also easy to heat and was like getting into a lovely hot bath. It easily took 4 people, we just released a small amount of water then topped up after we got out ready to reheat the next day. The outdoor shower was good too only could have been a tad hotter but still ok and a great part of the experience. We even used the eco friendly outside loo and as they said no smell. Very cleverly done. There were showers and toilets in a block if you wanted them a short walk away by the car park.

We spent 4 nights here with our dog and we will definately be coming again. The Yurts are amazing and there is everything you could possibly need for your glamorous camping experience. Everything was so clean and I was not expecting the bed to be so comfy. We loved the daily allocation of wood allowance which covered the hot tub, indoor fire and fire pit outside. During the day's we went to Penally beach which we knew we could take our dog on and Tenby but we were always keen to get back to the Yurt and to get the fires lit up. So impressed by our short time in this amazing place

Just returned from a four night winter stay in one of Florence Springs luxury lodges (Maple Lodge). We arrived late afternoon and were met by friendly park staff who directed us to our lodge and gave us helpful pointers on the hot tub controls, etc .The accommodation was clean, and very well appointed. Just what it said on the tin really.......even had a dishwasher (OK, so I may be easily impressed, but it does make a difference!). Heating was on when we arrived and the hot tub was operational.
The welcome pack was a nice touch -it included items that are easily forgotten when staying self catering . As well as teabags, milk and coffee, there were J cloths, scourer, kitchen roll, toiletries, etc. Oh, and a rather nice Pinot Grigio.
This is ideally situated for visiting nearby Tenby and Saundersfoot. A couple of days we visited the Stackpole estate and enjoyed some very nice scenic walking. On returning to the lodge, the hot tub was a welcome way to soak those aching limbs whilst gazing up at cold clear Welsh skies and counting the stars. 60 years old and my first time in a hot tub. Wont be installing one at home, but I certainly enjoyed it as an extra luxury which made the stay something special.
All in all we were very pleased with the accommodation and will be considering a return visit in the future.
Found a great little eating and drinking pub in Tenby. The Harbwr Brewery and Taproom. Lovely warm atmosphere with friendly staff and good food. They brew their own ales on site. I recommend the "Sir Gallahad" Very moorish in deed!

Hello! Florence Springs offers a perfect escape from everyday life so there isn't WiFi in the properties. However, if you need to connect, you will find WiFi in the shower/utility block :-)

Sorry, we've just seen your message and I realise our reply is a little late! However, to confirm the seats in the living area turn into additional beds, with a separate room for the double bed.
