This modern hotel is set well back from the main road so it is very quiet but there are a substantial number of shops and tavernas within a short stroll. As other reviewers have stated the room you get is a lottery. We had paid extra for a room with a sea view but on arrival we were told we had been 'upgraded', this upgrade turned out to be a dark ground floor room with no view whatsoever and a very public patio to which everyone going to reception had to walk past. It's only virtue was that it was fairly large and had two bathrooms (which we didn't need).
We complained and after 2 days were moved to a room on the second floor which did have a nice sea view, it was rather small but we didn't mind.
Throughout the staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was cleaned and the towels were changed daily, pool towels were provided and exchanged every couple of days at the small on site shop. All of the outside areas and pool were kept very clean.
The beach was disappointing and didn't look very appealing so we kept to the pool area and had no problem finding sunbeds in either the sun or shade. The pool area did get crowded on 2-3 days when high winds and waves made the beach unusable (it almost disappeared under water).
We were on a bed & breakfast basis but many guests were on half board. Both breakfast and dinner were buffet style and offered a wide selection of cold & hot items.

A perfect stay with a friendly and helpful staff. This hotel was rebuilt in 2019, then closed for COVID, so you are entering a smaller NEW, quiet, very clean hotel in a perfect location at a reasonable rate. Restaurant overlooking the beach has excellent food (Including the breakfast is well worth it!) Beach chairs, umbrellas and towels are there for you. You can walk to places to eat and shop. This part of the beach is not crowded and quite peaceful. You also have access to their larger property (beach resort and spa) within walking distance. You can get to Chania (by taxi) and other beaches (by bus).

Fabulous hotel, very clean rooms and communal areas. Superb staff who make your stay, with their service.

The pool is beautiful day and night with comfortable sunbeds and excellent facilities.

Just beyond the pool is the sea and there are sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach for hotel guests to use.

It is definitely the quieter of the hotels but we went in early May so it may be busier in high season.

Breakfast had a fabulous selection of food and great coffee. My only criticism would be that the hot food was never hot! But by the end of our stay and the increased numbers of people, the chefs were almost cooking to demand and things improved.

We found the same at dinner - with food being tepid. But all the food was very tasty and had it been piping hot, we would have no complaints at all. The selection is fabulous and the desserts are always fab!

We checked out at 11am but our flight was at 10pm - we continued to use the pool and our pool towels all day and then we were able to use the showers by the pool to get ready for our return journey.

Staff could not be more helpful.

I loved staying at this hotel. The rooms are clean, the stuff is friendly and the location is nice.
We had 2 meals included, breakfast and dinner. The food was excellent, there is a variety of food and everything tastes good. Our 3 year child loved it also. The beach is small and after 3 meters in water there are big stones. So if I could rate only the beach I would give it 3 stars. But for our 3 yaears child it was perfect because he playd in the 3 meter range where the water is ward and small.
You find near the hotel some good taverns, so it was a good decision to go there. The buss station is 3 minutes away, you can take it to chania.
We were happy all our stay at this hotel.

Nice hotel, but not a luxury hotell at all. Looks like any other new facility. The only luxury they offer is some extra soap and daily cleaning. Other then that, the rooms are small, the sunbeds are pushes toghether in a small pool area, and the beach is not great. I believe if they did not call it a «luxury» hotell we might feel better about it, but it did not live up to the name.

The male reseptionist were very nice, but we did not feel helped by the other ones..
Unfortenatly, all in all it was a big disapointment…

The hotel is well located, clean and facilites are very nice (rooms, pool...). However two very bad points are currently spoiling our holidays. First, the welcome and attitude of the staff. In 18 years of coming to Greece I have NEVER felt that unwelcome. The arrival was just shockingly rude and it didn't get better with time. The staff at the restaurant is not even saying hello (a very few young staff members are ok though). The attitude of the staff is very far from what one would expect from a 5 star.
Second point, the buffet. Again I don't think I have ever experienced anything that poor. There is very little choice and the options are extremely repetitive. We've now not even half way through our stay and I don't feel like coming back to eat as I litterally have to make an effort to find something suitable. If you come you better be a heavy lamb or pizza fan or you'll have a hard time.
So far we're pretty dissapointed and we're not really expecting any improvement. For sure we won't be back...it isn't enough to put "luxury" in your name to be worth a 5 star.

Absolutely worth a visit.
The staff are friendly throughout your visit and make sure you have everything you need to make your stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible.
There are two pools, joined together by a waterfall in the middle, thus meaning there is always shade on a pool. The pool was clean and had plenty of sun loungers. There is also a jacuzzi and a shallow pool for small children.
The facility is always clean and the cleaning staff are very kind, and make sure everything is spotless.
The breakfast buffet is huge! Every morning you could choose from tons of options, there was a cooked breakfast, continental, pastries, pancakes, fruit, bread, and olives. And you could go up as many times as you want.
We got a very good view where we could see the pool and the sea, our balcony was a nice size and lovely to sit on of an evening.
We had a very relaxing holiday with everything having been looked after for us.
Definitely would go back.
Will not forget this holiday.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. All staff very pleasant and helpful and in particular the housekeepers. Now a few downs on previous visit. On late arrival ~ 11:00pm only offered a cold meat plate then told we have to wait an hour or more as they were still waiting for others to arrive, no thanks do not want to eat at midnight. I would have thought they could offer a lunch voucher as a better gesture. In the room there should have been tea/coffee making facilities but none so had to ask for them. Only two very thin pillows so had to ask for more, wasn’t the case on previous visit. Our main problem was the restaurant. Problems with the fresh juice machine which was changed to a new one that didn’t work so one day no orange available. Food selection was very samey and worst of all hot choices actually only warm. Too much advance cooking and left to stand in warming dishes that were obviously too cold. Once again, a dress code called for but many guests chose to ignore and the hotel staff obviously not prepared to challenge anyone. On occasions they didn’t have enough tea pots or condiments so only a cup of hot water issued or take items from another table. On the beech only a few sun beds had cushions available not like the associated hotel The Beach & Spa Resort so makes you wonder why this hotel is the Luxury Selection! The usual at the pool side, signs about not putting towels on beds and leaving them clearly ignored or acted upon. Mini Bar not in room now but can be supplied which I would think is a good change as very few people use them but appreciate a fridge for items bought off site. Towel changing not daily but Tues/Thurs and Sat. On the beech you were constantly being ask by passing by Masseurs and two particular ones were very pushy, not sure if the hotel can do anything about this but I am sure many guests got fed up with this. So, our biggest disappointment was to food / temperature so unlikely we will return. I wonder if too much cost cutting processes are being used and not in line with a 5 Star hotel. I would not call this now 5 Star.

Hotel spotlessly clean and well maintained. Cleaners do a brilliant job. Small hotel with small pool. Pictures are deceiving. The food was very cold and not nice, not once did we enjoy our dinner or breakfast. Seen many a fly on the food as they put it out too early. The room was small but cleaned thoroughly. When I booked this room, it said it had an iron and ironing board, but this was not true. I asked 3 times for an ironing board, but it never appeared. We asked to keep the room on the last day as we we wasn't getting picked up until late that night, 3 times we went to ask, in the end they didn't have any. We had to use the pool showers, but they had no hair dryers. We left our cases at the reception and was told they would put them in a room for us. Did they? NO. we went back later on that day to find there still there. Everyone else's cases were put in the room. Poor customer service from the receptionist. So no I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

We've stayed in this hotel in mid July. Hotel was clean and tidy . Pretty busy but you can still have some quiet time at the beautiful restaurant or at the beach which is literally a step away. We felt very welcomed. Staff seemed to remember everyone in there, very attentive service and always available to assist you with a smile. We didn't like that some guests reserved the sunbeds with their towels but fortunately there is a person who collect them every now and then.
We totally recommend this hotel and hopefully see you next year.
