For the price, which is not cheap, we could have had a nice meal in W1. Staying over for three nights be prepared for: noisy room, all night!, tired decor, attitude at breakfast, no hotel shower gels ( etc of any kind), attitude at dinner, downstairs locked for breakfast (joy), logs out of reach at night because it's to dark,...

Excellent Hotel, wonderful room and something different from the norm. I stayed in the 'Bird in Hand' room which has a French renaissance style. A large room and en-suite. Choice of bar or restaurant menu with something to suit everyone's taste. Reasonably priced and excellent quality. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I will definitely book again when I am...

My partner and I had a most relaxing and enjoyable break at The Bath Arms. The bed in the Peacock Room was huge and we had such a great sleep. The ensuite was of double room dimensions with the platformed roll top bath taking centre stage. Breakfast was varied and excellent and served promptly. Staff were very helpful and no...

I have just returned from a weekend at The Bath Arms with my mum and sister. We were using it as a base for walking in the local area. The hotel is in a great location, right next to Longleat and some truly spectacular countryside. The staff were all very nice, smiley and attentive enough. The rooms - my mum...

We spent 2 nights at the Bath Arms during part of a 10 walking tour provided by Foot Trails of Bath. After a stay at the Queensbury Hotel in Bath this was a new experience - an inn. The inns we stayed at were typically local pubs with rooms provided. The inn is remote, quiet and rooms were cozy, small...

Stayed one night in order to visit Longleat Safari Park. 1st impressions of outside were good, but reception is the bar, so had to wait while they served the drinkers. Room was dated and there was a fly struggling in a cobweb hanging over the bad. The toilet room was very off putting as it had carpet on the floor,...

Had two nights at the bath arms as a part of a visit to Longleat. The Oriental room was up in the roof and you needed to be agile up the stairs. The actual room was ok but the bathroom was pretty basic with only a shower head connected to the bath taps. The restaurant food was average on the...

I wanted to give a friend of mine a surprise weekend away treat for her birthday and since we are both keen on animals, Longleat seemed ideal. Whilst browsing the website I came acroos the link to The Bath Arms Inn and noted that they did some fabulous weekend packages, so I chose the bed, breakfast, entrance to the Safari...

We stayed at the Bath Arms for 2 nights from the 17th October 2014. Our room, The Flashman Suite, was lovely, although the ceilings were extremely low - my husband is 6'5", and could only stand up in one small area of the room. It would have been nice to be pre-warned of this. The whole hotel is decorated to...

We arrived at the Bath Arms and asked for a table for lunch to be informed that they were fully booked. Fine........... except there was absolutely no-one in the bar and every single table in the bar was unoccupied. Some were laid up with a reserved sign - fair enough. One long table was empty, not laid up and no...
