Had a brilliant stay in the woodshed twin room, Mum & I can't praise it enough. Margaret who runs the guest rooms is lovely, provides everything needed for breakfast. She does all that's necessary/you require to make the stay pleasant. The surroundings are peaceful & enjoyable with all the wildlife around. Definitely will be staying here again.

Our family could not have had a friendlier welcome to this beautiful old farm with a mill pond. We sat and enjoyed a quiet drink and supper by the pond as the weather was fine. Our grandchildren loved feeding the donkeys ( carrots provided) and, best of all, playing with the friendly dogs. There lots of cows and ducks too. The breakfast was enormous and was already in your room waitng for you to serve yourselves in the morning with eggs, cereal, etc. Our two rooms were very nice and spacious. The farm is close to a good pub and also Longleat Safari Park. Margaret arranged a discount on entry tickets for us. It is also very close to Longleat Center Parcs. We recommend Mill Farm 100%!

I can’t even explain how fabulous this place is. Aside from the incredible location and views, Margaret makes you so welcome the rooms are spotless and the breakfast in your room is beautiful with so much food and my dietary requirements were more than met. We will 100% be visiting again and I will find any excuse to do so. You will not regret a moment spent at Mill Farm.

We stopped at Mill Farm from Bank holiday through to Friday morning, we've been going since last year and have been three or four times. Spending time at Mill farm is like spending time with Family, we stopped in the converted Cow shed. When you get there you have everything you would want, there is a fridge stocked with goodies for breakfast, lunch or tea. They have a fridge, Microwave, toaster, kettle other bits to make your stay like being at home. Margaret, Steve and Jack their Son and not forgetting Robbie the springer make you feel right at home. Mill Farm is a working farm in Horningsham and is set in beautiful countryside on the Longleat Estate. I can't praise Mill Farm highly enough, we always feel like we are leaving family behind when it's time to go home. If you have a young family then this is the place for you with so many farm animals around and they even have a Kingfisher but you have to look for him as he's very fast flyer. The place and the family are very special and once you go you'll want to keep going back, I for one am looking forward to going back with my Wife Trina.

We stayed in the self catering cottage The Piggeries. Never done this before but we organised a sainsbury delivery which Margaret was happy with and convenient. The photos are deceptive - this place was larger than I expected! Going in the front door past the 3 very friendly, carrot eating Donkeys and delightful characters farmyard ducks/geese, into the hallway. to your right is a large open plan kitchen (we found it fully equipped!) Dining table to seat 6, large screen tv and games/dvd cabinet and comfortable sofas. The floor is like a felt, no wooden - and so very clean. The left side is bedrooms and a wet room and a bathroom. very well planned out. All the rooms can be darkened enough and we were delighted with the night lights. Our children are at primary school so old enough to know not to climb the mezininne stairs and find the bathroom in the semi-darkness but the night light was a genius touch. Margaret, Stephen and her family are utterly delightful. Workings so hard on their working farm, they alwasy had time for us. Nothing was too much - even when I asked if there was another bed available, she whipped one up! We talked about the gorgeous donkeys, who were so friendly and we had a bag of carrots delivered for my children to give to them. Worth packing an extra packet of these for the donkeys! We're on o2 and there was no signal, but we managed to stay in touch via wifi which was included :0) A 9 minute walk away is the fab Bath Arms public house. perfect for an after-dinner stroll and drinks in their garden. You are situated at the back of the Longleat estate, which was perfect for our visit as there isn't much driving! Wookey Hole was 55 minutes, nunney castle is a quiant little stop 20m away and we finished with a dairy free cake and play on the pirate ship at Cafe nervoux next to The Lighthouse.

We stayed here on an overnight only before going to Longleat. 2 adults and 2 children in the Cow Shed on this idyllic working farm. Absolutely perfect. Margaret had thought of everything with an abundance of breakfast options (including dietary needs for my husband). The fridge was fully stocked with a lovely selection as well as the food and drinks table. The whole room and bathroom was clean and just wow - the bed linen smelt divine! Being rural people ourselves the setting was exactly what we wanted with animals and a small lake. It is also about a mile from Longleat and Margaret even booked the tickets for us and popped in our room. The nearby pub The George Inn was fantastic too, superb food and reasonably priced. The highlight for our children was feeding the donkeys and collecting the hens eggs in the morning! (Robbie the dog was also a great playmate for our youngest). Would definitely recommend staying here whether for a stop near Longleat or a longer weekend break.

The property is quiet, other than the running water from the end of the mill pond and the lovely birdsong. The hosts are welcoming and have given thought to everything you may need in the room, which was immaculately clean and comfortable. There is a pretty silent fridge in the room, and loads of bits and bobs for breakfast and snacks, with fresh milk and butter, breads and spreads, fruit and cereal and a variety of hot drinks and biscuits. If you need it there is crockery, a microwave, egg cooker and eggs. Self serve whenever you want it! The outdoor seating area is tranquil and shaded with a beautiful view across the pond - I spent my day sat outside working on the laptop and it was lovely. My thanks to the family for a great stay.

Lovely night stay at this B &B prior to a visit to Longleat. Lovely scenery and very clean. Great selection for breakfast in your room due to current situation. Kids loved the bunk beds and the ducks. Very friendly hosts. Would stay again.

WOW!! we were a party of 6 booked through Air B&B. We stayed in the Old Piggery. When we arrived we could see straight away that the views were going to be amazing and we was right. I was blown away. The accommodation overlooks the pond and the green fields. We were pleasantly surprised by the 3 cutest donkeys that came straight up to the fence to welcome us. The accommodation was absolutely fantastic and had everything we needed. Plenty of crockery, pots and pans, a large fridge freezer as well as a small fridge in the kitchen, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. It was absolutely spotless. Beds were comfy and we all slept very well. There was also a bbq which we was able to use as the weather was so lovely. There were also some board games in the cupboard which was a nice touch as well as the welcome book with places of interest near by. We visited longleat which was only 5 minutes away and Bath which was 30-40 minutes away. Mill Farm is a great base as there is plenty to do around. We all had such a fantastic time especially a little visit from 'Robbie' the 17 week old puppy. We are already discussing when next to visit.
