Had evening meal here twice during our 5 night self catering stay in delightful Beer. Comparatively quiet. A very wide ranging menu and equally varied prices. Service was prompt and food delicious. very dog friendly and a special mention to Bulgarian waiter ( Dsvetomir spelling?) who was charming efficient.

Took a short notice 3 night break in November. Had been to Beer before, and eaten in the Anchor Inn in high summer, but not out of season. We were well looked after, and the accommodation virtually fully booked which is a good sign in November. Only 6 bedrooms, 3 on first floor and 3 on second floor, all with...

We had a 2 night stay here, staying in a very comfortable en suite room with a gorgeous view of the beach and sea. Very well priced, nicely positioned and reasonably quiet. The dray arrived on Friday morning as expected at 7.30am, so no sleeping in!!! Breakfast was good, the room was clean and the linen was better than expected....

Stayed for 2 nights in a superior room (4) with a good view of the sea. The room was clean but the air freshener used was overpowering. We ate in the restaurant on the first night, the food is standard Old English Inns fare good value for money, pleasantly severed and piping hot. The bar has 3 real ales Otter,...

Nice pub very close to our holiday apartment. Sunday evening dinner sadly all the Sunday Roasts were sold out so settled for fish and chips plus scampi and chips. Service very good for a pub and food was trad pub grub. Pub lacked a little atmosphere but pleasant enough!

Lovely small hotel, right next to the beach. Staff very friendly but we had the last room available which had the bathroom across the landing. A little inconvenient but we knew about it when we booked. Good food, great setting

Popped in here with thirty friends for Sunday lunch. We gave them less than 24 hours warning and they stepped up to the plate with style. Great choice on menu with vegan and veggie options! Chose the veggie roast, freshly cooked , so it took 20 mins or so. Delicious. Very impressed that all the desserts were marked up if...

A superb friendly welcome with our suitcase being carried up to the room. Stayed for B&B only as we had other commitments but the food going into the Dining area.was superb as where the breakfasts. The choice of breakfast was amazing and the quality and quantity excellent. Spent the afternoon in the bar watching the Ryder Cup with a couple...

Didn't stay, just ate in the restaurant. Had the Rib Eye steak. Supposed to be succulent and juicy. Clearly it had been defrosted in the microwave. So it was unevenly cooked and tough. Not good value for money either. However the beer was good also the bar and restaurant staff were very friendly

Dear Guest, I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your steak on your last visit. Hope you had brought this to the attention, of the duty manager and that we had somehow rectified this for you. Looking forward to welcome you again in a near future, and to serve you the succulent and juicy steak we promised...
