Lovely, spotless room. We liked the fact that we were left alone to come and go as we pleased. Breakfast was delicious and the owners are friendly. Great location just a couple of mins walk to the beach. We would stay here again definitely.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. Beer is a beautiful fishing village and we have visited one than once. The stay at Durham house was perfect for us. The location is on the high street and was very quiet. Do be aware that parking is in a public car park about a 2 minute walk...

the room was spot on ,two chairs by the window with two glasses and a corkscrew so felt obliged to pop over to the shop for a bottle of wine and spend the afternoon people watching :) . The breakfast was excellent , nothing too much trouble for the owners , all in all a lovely weekend and we will...

Lovely room, very cosy with excellent facilities. This is the best b&b weve ever stayed at and we literally cant think of a single bad thing to say about about it. Highly recommended if youre planning to stay around beer.

Hosts Richard and Sophie are a cheerful, enthusiastic couple who work hard to ensure their client's complete satisfaction. The rooms have lovely decor and are very comfortable. Breakfasts are splendid, fresh local food prepared beautifully. This is a must-return venue!

Our stay at Durham House was simply faultless. On arrival we picked our room key up and settled in. It was so relaxing to be left alone but know our kind and amiable hosts, Richard & Sophie were there if we needed anything. When we saw them they were always pleasant and talkative. The B&B was very clean and the...

Lovely weekend break in Beer for a married couple. Room at Durham House very nicely appointed and spacious, great furnishings and generous tea and coffee facility. Did not have time to try the breakfast but enjoyed a lovely evening at the Dolphin (happened upon a very welcoming 70th birthday celebration), complete with live music. The beach as ever was breath...

We did a really last minute booking and we're glad we did. Friendly owner Richard welcomed us and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely room overlooking Fore Street with a comfortable bed, and sweets and biscuits were a nice touch. The breakfast was generous and tasty. It's cash or cheque only so make sure you have cash,...

Stayed for 1 night here on 30th October 2016. This is a lovely Victorian house which had been decorated very tastefully. There is no parking at this B&B, but you park your car further down the road in the Car Park, you are then re-embursed by the B&B when you pay your bill Our room was on the second floor...

Lovely decor. Comfortable, warm and clean. Wide choice of delicious breakfast.. Small sitting room with couch, telly, ensuite - essential if the weather is not good. Friendly efficient staff. Parking tricky. Take lots of pound coins.
