Someone please tell the management how ridiculous it is to make all of the outside dining area for smokers only. Beautiful day, pity we cant eat outside as its not allowed! Havent tried the meal yet but the menu looks good if a bit old fashioned.

Thankyou very much for your recent visit to St Francis Winery. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us and we strive to improve with each and every guest visit. Unfortunately due to the new smoking laws, we are unable to have both outside smoking and dining in such a small area. We will certainly take your comments on board and...

This property could be so much better. It is a nice design that is fitting with an old winery. Perhaps their maintenance budget does not allow a repaint just yet, but there is no excuse for dirty rooms. A new manager may help as that is usually where the problem when lies.

Hi StoneyCairns, Thank you very much for your review of your recent stay at our hotel. I'm sorry to hear the rooms weren't up to standard & we have addressed this issue with our housekeeping staff. We hope you enjoyed the picturesque surroundings of St Francis and are pleased to say that we will be implementing some upgrades next year....

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed but could do with an upgrade. However, considering the price this place is very good value for money and situated in a lovely quiet area. Dinner was delicious and the dining room very nice. Although there was a Wedding on in a different area it did not impact...

I would not rate this hotel as more than a 3 star - but it is clean. Very basic hotel rooms that you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Bed was very creaky and wobbly - think it had seen some action! Linens on bed basic, but clean. Decor of room very dated and basic. Bathrooms quite big, we...

5 of us went to the winery for lunch. We chose from the Seniors menu at $14.90 for 2 courses. Probably a little more than you pay at a pub for a seniors at around $15.90 for 3 courses and salad/veggie bar with rolls thrown in. Here, if you wanted bread it was $1 for one slice of garlic bread....

Had Sunday lunch at st Francis today if it wasn't for our party of six the place would have nearly been empty. Food was disappointing I had slow cooked shoulder, the portion was very small, my partner had the Atlantic salmon which was over cooked. Had sticky date pudding for desert, would think it was store bought doey with no...

My partner Michael and I stayed on Friday evening ( 9th of September, 2016) in the spa room - room 120. On entering it was exactly as been explained to me by a previous guest- in desperate need of some TLC. There was nothing inviting about the room at all, it smelt like it had not been cleaned, or at...

We stayed overnight for my boyfriends birthday. My teenaged daughter came along at the last minute and for an extra $20 that was reasonable. The indoor pool was a treat for the winter weather, nice and warm too. The rooms are neat but dated. We enjoyed our stay with no noise picked up from South Road which was pleasantly suprising....
