Booked the Lakeside Yurt site (Oak & Willow Yurts) at Love2Yurt as a quirky alternative venue for my sister’s baby shower and it was brilliant! Lucie and Joel were so lovely and accommodating. From their quick responses to my many questions, to a helpful site tour; they both made organising the shower a dream. The yurts were spotless and beautiful inside and out. The site was equipped with everything we might need, had ample parking and the venue was perfectly located between Banbury and Brackley. Thankfully Mother Nature was kind so we were also able to enjoy the spacious outside space and the fab lakeside view. There were 27 of us and there was plenty of room for games and decorations. The enclosed hutte was perfect for the buffet table and the faux plant garland and fairy lights fitted with our botanical theme perfectly! I would not hesitate to recommend Love2Yurt and hope to return for a glamping trip one day! …

Fabulous place for a short family break, lots of space for the little ones to run around in. Plenty of fuel for the stoves and fire pit. Loved that there is indoor as well as outdoor dining, your own kitchen and shower facilities. What’s not to love? Will book again!

I stayed in Bramble Yurt with 7 friends for our annual weekend away. The place is great, plenty of space and parking, fully equipped kitchen and BBQ facilities, comfy beds, good shower, super outside facilities, all surrounded by lovely countryside and with very friendly hosts. Would highly recommend.

This was our third time at bramble yurt - 2 mums and 4 kids. It’s a wonderful glamping adventure for the kids. Highlights for the kids were the tree swing, picking blackberries and each having their own bed. Highlights for the adults were having a BBQ that was clean and ready to light with charcoal provided, plus a lovely dining hutte with a log burner, wood provided, blankets and fairy lights (which made a cosy place for evening wine consumption!). Overall we really like bramble yurt - everything is contained in one place: yurt, picnic benches, dining hutte, bathroom and kitchen. It is well equipped with lots of thought about how to make your stay as easy as possible. Joel is wonderfully friendly and helpful, he greeted us on arrival and was there to say goodbye at check-out. We had to get in touch to request the use of a microwave and he quickly supplied one. Thoroughly recommend Love2Yurt!…

We wanted a site which had facilities near by, and Love2yurt really had it all. We booked two nights in the Bramble yurt, a lovely closed in area, surrounded with blackberries, sheep and the most beautiful views. Bramble was like a home from home, with our own exclusive kitchen, bathroom and dining huttes, as well as plenty of out door seating, tree swing, fire pit and bbq. Upon arrival we were greeted by Joel whom helped us transport our luggage down to the yurt in the provided wheelbarrows. He was great with my daughter (age6), whom had her own wheelbarrow loaded with soft toys and games. He really made her laugh, and was so welcoming. Upon entering our area, Joel showed us all the different things in each hutte, and left us to enjoy our break, I was amazed at the amount of thought and detail that gone into the accommodation. The location itself is based within Limes Farm, which had a small petting farm, adventure walk, and tea room. The cake was delicious, portion sizes huge, and they also served a selection of hot food. Prices were reasonable, and the lovely chef even made up some more Victoria sponge cake for me when they ran out. The adventure walk cost £3.95 and included a map, and a wooden star for the wishing tree, as well as a prize at the end, the selection had something for everyone. The main yurt slept 9, it was huge, and the futon was surprisingly so comfortable, neither me or my daughter wanted to get up. We hired bedding, the main bed was made up for us on arrival and the sheets etc for the futon were folded neatly on a huge storage basket ready for later. Lucie very thoughtfully provided a spare sleeping bag, in case my daughter wanted her own bed. Inside the yurt was a helpful guide to the local area, lighting (side lamps and a main light), a heater, and a box of games, as well as some cool ornaments to match the theme. The dining hutte, had a large wooden table and chairs, a lovely log fire, and a basket of blankets. We used this room for our evening drinks and games. We were provided with a basket of kindling, logs and some coal. It was warm so we didn’t need the fire on for heat, but if needed there was a honesty box to pay for additional logs which were kept in an outside storage box. It even had some marshmallow roasting forks. The kitchen hutte was very well equipped, you could only have one electrical item plugged in at a time in the kitchen, this really wasn’t an issue for us, as we cooked most of our food on the bbq. Washing up items were provided, as well as cleaning supplies, oil and salt and pepper (which was very useful as I always forget these bits). And there was plenty of fridge and freezer space. The bathroom, had a full size shower, flushing toilet, heated towel rail. The purple theme continued in there too, with the provided hand towel and accessories. Again cleaning supplies and hand wash, spare toilet roll was provided. We had a small issue with the hot water, but Joel was straight onto sorting it for us, and it didn’t impact our break. Our area was picture perfect, everything was clean and well looked after, we loved having our own area, and the winner for my daughter, the tree swing. We absolutely loved our break, the area and the yurt exceeded our expectations. We have already looked at dates to come back. Thank you Lucie and Joel for such a well thought out glamping experience. …

Fantastic couple of days staying in the Bramble yurt. Everything we needed and more was provided. The yurt is fully enclosed with a separate kitchen and bathroom. There is also a really cute dining hut strung with fairy lights. We had 3 children aged 5, 8 and 9 with us and they loved the tree swing and soon found the basket of games in the yurt. There are woods to explore and and room to run wild…and they did! A big thank you to Joel who was so helpful…even taking our luggage down in wheelbarrows which the kids thought was cool 👍. We all slept well….thoroughly recommend it.

Amazing glamping site with beautiful yurts and great facilities. Kids loved the whole experience especially the petting farm and summer trail 😊. Yurt was perfect with very comfortable beds and beautiful furnishings and homely feel! Facilities were great as well with own perfectly functional kitchenette and sheltered dinning area with wood burner! Washing and toilet facilities were a little walk away but still perfectly adequate and clean! Owners were very welcoming and pleasant throughout our stay and we would thoroughly recommend Love2Yurt to all!!

We stayed at the Lakeside side yurt which sleeps 10. Joel greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of our home for the weekend. To access the yurts you had a grassy slope or a gravelly path. The yurts were clean, spacious with a lovely outside seating area, which had natural shade from the large tree that just added to the relaxing feel of the place. The smaller yurt had bedding for the double (which was already made up) the two singles futons had sleeping bags, these did come with separate liners. The kitchen area, closest to the yurts, was fully equipped with everything you could think of. During our stay we had a mix of weather so we were thankful for the dining area to get out of the rain and carry on enjoying our time there. Both bathrooms were again clean and spacious with hot water, one thing was the distance between the yurts and these. Although for us as a group it was no problem, maybe to have young children or elderly needing the toilet during the night, it may be different. Next to these was the smaller kitchen which was the washing up area with running water, equipped with even more plates, crockery and glasses and a lovely view of the fields with grazing sheep. I would say if the weather is warm bring bottom sheets for the futons so you can open the sleeping bags. Bring a torch for the night time toilet trip. We always had a bowl of soapy water for quick use. Take advantage of the open fields to roam around with the kids and see how many gnomes you can find! Overall I would highly recommend a stay! ❤️ …

I booked Love2Yurt for a peaceful break with my Sisters. The booking and communication before the stay were excellent. Joel greeted us on arrival and showed us to the Vintage yurt, down a hill with plenty of wheelbarrows to help us with our luggage. The Yurt itself is positioned on the edge of a field with great views. Beside the Yurt is a Hutte which can be used to eat and chill in the evening with a log burner in inclement weather. The Kitchen facility is also right next to the Yurt and very well equipped with its own fridge freezer and gateleg table. No running water, but a water urn is provided; washing-up facilities are about an 80-meter walk away, as is the dedicated shower room for the Yurt - no inconvenience at all, but take a torch or use your phone torch at night. There are gravel paths to lead the way. The Yurt is well furnished with a double bed and 2 Futon beds. There is plenty of room in the Yurt for 3 or 4 adults sharing, including allowing space for small suitcases and a small clothes hanger is provided. Solar provides an electric point, and 2 x USB points are handy for charging your phone. There is plenty to do, or if you want to chill like us, it's a beautiful relaxing spot. We went to the Fox put nearby and the food was lovely, and Brackley is an attractive market town to visit and have food. I left my ring in the Yurt and Joel got in touch straight away, letting me know, and posted it back to me. We agreed that a few things could have made the experience a 5-star one. The futon beds are pretty uncomfortable as they are wooden slatted, and the bedding provided by Love2Yurt for the futons is sleeping bags. For younger children, this might be fine, personally, I would have preferred sheets and blankets. We did contact Joel and he kindly bought some sheets for us to use. It would be helpful to clarify this on the website ; I would have happily bought my own bedding had I known it. We had beautiful hot weather while staying which was lovely, however, there is no outside shade in or near the Vintage yurt. You could use the Hutte to escape the sun, but this was like an oven. An umbrella of some sort would be a good option to add. Some of the other yurts have naturally shaded areas. There is plenty of seating inside and out, four metal chairs and a table for al fresco dining, but sadly no seat pads. We used the ones from the Hutte, but the chairs really need more padding on the seat and the backs. Whilst it was great to have the loungers, and they did have pads, they have seen better days. Overall the experience was lovely and value for money, and we would go back. …

Joel was a great host, really friendly. He was there when we arrived to show us to our yurt and help us with out bags. 8 of us stayed there last August and had such a good time. Really peaceful! Bathroom/toilet was really clean. We had the firepit going in the evening and made use of the BBQ too. We will be back in future with our kids.
