Burnhouse Manor Hotel badly needs renovation. Or, even better, should be torn down, because it lacks any modern architectural concept, hardly anything is new here. The food (breakfast) clearly is below average.

Can’t confirm whether it is closed but probably should be! Worst afternoon tea ever. Avoid.

Funnily enough Willie D, I emailed Anne asking for a reason as to why a BBQ never happened at my wedding despite paying for it..... over a month later... no response.

Burnhouse manor is a wonderful place to escape to for a night or two. Rooms are great, staff are great, prices are great, and the food is truly wonderful. People who criticise this place would be better staying at home. Stayed here a few times and have never had cause for any complaints. I have recommended the Burnhouse to friends who have visited and loved it, indeed, they returned within a fee weeks for another stay and assure me they will have more visits....Do the maths!
