We stayed for 3 days in this lovely, quaint old house. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, the rooms, though not huge, are well appointed with comfy beds, great views, lovely bedding, duvets and pillows, and breakfasts are excellent with plenty of choice available. Toiletries are provided in the ensuites. Evening meals are not provided, but there are plenty... More

We stopped here for one night. Cleavers Lyng is a charming 16 century building set in lovely surroundings. We stayed in the four poster bed room which was very comfy and we enjoyed a good nights sleep. The Breakfast was very good, but is only served for 1 hour (8:30-9:30) . All in all a lovely location for a romantic... More

Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Last order for a cooked breakfast is indeed 930, we do give a little leeway should somebody oversleep. The buffet is normally cleared at 10 am or just after and you re always welcome to stay at the table for as long as you like. I... More

We stayed in the balcony room, spacious, with a large en-suite. It is in a quiet situation and the Views from our room were lovely. The cooked breakfast was cooked to perfection, and also plenty of choice for those who do not want the full English. Would we recommend it? Of course we would.

A really gorgeous place to stay. Sally was a lovely host. We stayed in the French Room. We didn't find the bed very comfy unfortunately due to the bed being a normal double ( we are used to a Super King size bed) and the covers weren't very soft but it was only 1 night and we would come and... Thank you for your lovely review, you are correct the French Room does have a normal size double bed, for those that are used to a kingsize and a super king size bed we do have other rooms which may suite better. Sally Simpson More

Lovely old character B&B with gorgeous gardens surrounding it. We had the balcony room with a great outlook over the gardens and countryside. It was spacious, clean and had 2 comfortable chairs to sit in, uncommon in most B&Bs. The cooked breakfast was one of the best I've eaten. Good easy access with parking.

Wonderful rooms, recommend the balcony room if available overlooking the lovely gardens. Great breakfast with a choice of quality ingredients. Unexpected gem in a superb setting, the only traffic noise was from a horse out for morning exercise. Would definitely stay here again.

We were surprised when we arrived to be asked to pay for the room the minute we entered the front door - normally guests pay when they leave and are fully satisfied with a stay. Hello Daniel I am to be honest a little confused by your review. When you book the price is clearly stated and it is shown on the form that you sign when you arrive. I would be out of business years ago if I charged more when you arrived! If you where not happy why did you not say anything... More
