Stayed here for one night earlier this month. Lounge area was nice and relaxed, pets allowed (a few dogs roaming around, which was nice) but room was pretty poor - smelt very old and musty, there was only two plug sockets and one was for the tiny Freeview TV yet the room had 4 beds in it! Most of the... More

I love love love this place, it's just so relaxing and friendly. So much so, I say in the lounge area in my pjs. The food is just amazing, every time I've been the food has been great. The rooms are lovely and cosy. Can not recommend enough. We had our dog with us and he loved it, lovely walks... More

Terrible experience: "ghost" lodge...(totally empty lodge), very messy lobby with food staying overnight on coffee table, 2 bulbs in bedroom dead (none to replace), breakfast after 9 am only, terrible moisture smell (stinks...) in the bedroom, no shower only bathtub, all doors were blocked when we left (we had to use emergency exits) and there was nobody around. A pity... More

Unfortunately I can't leave an accurate review of the cabins due to the fact I only viewed the outside surroundings. Travelled an hour and a half to these lodges to be welcomed at the door to a sorry looking sign informing us that they were in fact closed (see attached) for maintenance. After a walk around the premises thinking someone... More

Visited here end of March with my partner. Beautiful location, and very friendly staff. There was only us and a family staying that night. Had a lovely meal, food was really good. Unfortunately, as there was pool competition being held in the back bar, we were unable to use the facilities ie dart board 2nd pool table. As there was... More

I am a slave to tripadvisor reviews and was swayed by the positive reviews. How wrong I was. Cabin smelt damp and not very nice at all but with the windows open ok. Shower was a trickle. Food and service extremely average. If you had kids attention plentiful, otherwise you felt a nuisance. Wifi, available in bar area only.
