The three warriors who took care of us, Lebeneiyo and Jock kept us safe and very pampered at this aesthetically beautiful camp built into the landscape. Francis took me on bush walks to experience animals at ground level. We gazed for ten minutes 20 feet from a magnificent Grevy's zebra stallion. Falling asleep under all those stars with only animal...

Thank you so much for your review about your recent stay at Loisaba Star Beds! The warriors make a world of difference when journeying through Loisaba, as most are from the area and are very familiar with all the magic it beholds! A bush walk is a fantastic and unforgettable experience, that allows guests to get up close and personal...

We recently spent a night at Starbeds. We enjoyed the unusual aspect of the Starbeds but found it to be extremely quiet. Rooms were cute and clean and view was amazing. Best part was our guide Solomon! He is warm, funny and knowledgeable. Ask for him to show you the Loisaba area and you will be glad you did! Food...

Thank you for taking the time to review Loisaba Star Beds. The star beds are a unique and rustique property, set aside from the Tented camp, providing the "at one with nature" essence, that so many seek. The view is spectacular and we hope you enjoyed sleeping under the stunning African sky. The Loisaba guides are extremely knowledgeable about Loisaba,...

The Star Beds at Loisaba are best experienced after a night or two at the new Tented Camp (about 6km away) - as after relaxing in the luxury of the Tented Camp, the Star Beds offer a completely unique and rustic way to experience the African bush. The communal area is stone-walled, open chalet overlooking the aptly-named Kiboko ("Hippo") Dam,...

Thank you for your kind review! There isn't anything quite like the Star beds and having stars in your ceiling and a 180 degree window to wake up to. We're so pleased you enjoyed your time at the Star Beds and we hope to see you back in the near future . Martin, Jani and the Loisaba Starbeds Team

What a phenomenal experience. We had heard a lot about the starbeds but nothing can prepare you for the experience. I have never seen such a more rustic and natural - but luxurious lodge - and we have seen many! The room (or platforms) are just divine and the true charm is at night when your bed (on four 4WD...

Just amazing......free from the world. I love nature. The view outside is so beautiful with a good site to watch birds. No network.....that's amazing cause it separates you from the normal world. So silent. Animal watching is great......you should do the rides......my partner reminds me of the place daily.

Fiona and team welcomed us to the Star Beds for 2 nights at the start of our safari. They made us feel at home and provided outstanding hospitality. Loisaba is the most wonderful conservancy and we had a superb stay in the Kiboko starbeds. We were utterly blown away by just how vast and beautiful Loisaba was, with 56,000 acres wholly to ourselves. Not a soul. Visited here a week ago and was lost for words! To find and such an open, serene and undisturbed area in such a chaotic world is like finding a needle in a haystack. It was a home away from home, only better. The service we got in the middle of no where was better than a 7 star hotel. Fiona...

Hey, I don't know if you got any help. Check on the loisaba conservancy website, on where to stay just select the star beds, then fill the form and they will email you within the day. Just booked a surprise trip for my boyfriend and I, they are really quick to respond. Hope this helps.

Many thanks for your question. We look forward to having you at Loisaba Conservancy.

Loisaba has a few different little properties, the Kiboko Starbeds where you were hoping to stay doesn't have a swimming pool.

Construction wise, there is nothing going on within a 5km radius of the starbeds... So you have absolutely no worries. Please do send me an email with any queries.

Very best regards,

Fiona (manager)
