The place is magical!! the food was delicious, the Chef took very good care about our food restrictions and preferences! Above all, the team was spectacular, they did everything so we can be happy, they were on top of everything! We did horseback riding, archery, target shooting, fishing, swimming in the lake and the river, bush hiking, Paddel board, star gazing. My family was very happy, It will be an unforgettable vacation!
Oh my goodness this truly is a spectacular family retreat ! We spent 3 nights in star camp with our family. Lying in one of the most comfortable beds anywhere looking up at the stars was an amazing treat. We felt more like family than guests by the passionate, professional, warm and welcoming staff. The horseback riding through the ranch post forest fire with the black trees against all of the new green vegetation was incredible. Highly recommend the 3-D archery and hatchet throwing ! Super fun for the entire family. I always wanted to try skeet shooting and I can now cross that off of my bucket list. With thanks to Marshall and Cole for their patience and professional guidance! Delicious food, I am still craving the smoked trout breakfast hash ! Our heart felt thanks to the entire staff for making this a truly memorable experience!!…
A truly wonderful escape. Siwash is the perfect combo of authentic luxury. If you're looking for a high end adventure off grid, this is the spot. Food, accommodation, service, activities... they hit it out of the park! Every detail has been thought of.
This was an Incredible experience from start to finish. We went to Siwash for our 20th anniversary and from the start had a stay we will never forget. The fire from two years ago has obviously left its mark...but the intensity of nature and the beauty of the surroundings remains on full display. It is spectacular country that leaves you calm and breathless at the same time. Words do not do the Experience justice. Our diet and drink restrictions were fully accommodated. The food is fantastic! Every meal different...health conscious and delicious. The service team is incomparable...Allison, Jana, Marshall, Cole, Sarah, & Jessica...all brought their special personality & contributions to the resort. All incredibly warm and friendly people focussed on the highest quality experience. There is a closeness to the group that intensifies the feeling we enjoyed. We had a great time with the activities...in particular the horesback riding and archery. I am not an experienced rider but felt prepared, comfortable and safe throughout. The archery was just a lot of fun! The star camp is a must experience...from the wood fired hot tub, to the fire pit, to the beautiful tent accomodation with a view of the stars from your bed...we had not "glamped" before. We will certainly do so again! The experience was so wonderfully intimate...something we will never forget. Allison and her team has created an incomparable resort. The story of Siwash and the reason for its "specialness" and resilience is obvious throughout the stay....its the place and its the people!! A must experience...5 stars is not enough.…
I almost never write reviews but this place is in a league of its own. My 9 year old daughter and I stayed for 5 days/nights and had an incredible experience. The ranch is family owned and operated. The experience was intimate, rich and led us to reconnect with ourselves, each other and the beautiful nature around us. The team is passionate about sharing their way of life with their guests. I felt like I was staying with family instead of at a hotel, even though they had all the amenities of a luxury resort. There was a big fire in the area surrounding the ranch in 2017. The regrowth happening now is a once in a lifetime sight to behold. I'm so glad we were able to see it before it all grows back. The forest looks like artwork with carbon black tree trunks surrounded by a sea of pink/purple flowers, golden grass and young greenery. We also took lessons every day - in archery, horseback riding, even a cooking class! The highlight was a (carbon neutral) helicopter ride into the surrounding canyons and atop ridges where we felt like the only people in the world. This place is a sanctuary.…
