A nice sized room (1) with good towels, toiletries and supper tray and to the rear of the hotel so quite quiet. The room rates and restaurant are good value for money with the menu offering good portions of mainly pub style food. Over the two days we had two sub-standard offerings in the restaurant, one of which was clearly...

Stayed on a 2 night KGB deal in March. Nice warm welcome from the bar staff who showed us up to our very pleasant room. Plenty of space, comfortable bed and fully equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and bathroom incidentals. The only down side was the fact that our bedroom had an adjoining door to the next...

Great location to visit Newcastle or great country side including Hadrians wall which was quite close by. For saying i was a Leicester fan...

We stayed here for 3 nights on a KGB deal and overall it was a very pleasant break. We had room 3 which was nicely decorated with a good bathroom and all the added extras you would expect. The staff were very friendly and helpful , the location is excellent for discovering the area and Corbridge itself is a nice...

Our stay this last weekend, 28/ 29 March was on a KGB deal. The staff were friendly and efficient. The evening meal and the breakfast, although offering limited choices was well cooked and nicely presented. The bedroom (Room 4) was very small with a double bed pushed against the wall, meaning that one or other of us had to climb...

My wife and I struck lucky once again by spending two nights at this hotel. We were shown to our room which was clean, it had drink making facilities i.e tea, coffee chocolate. A television; telephone, and a...

We stayed here for two nights on a kgb deal. Very good value as we had the first night's evening meal included. We had a nice 3 course meal in their large conservatory restaurant. The room had been refurbished and the decor was very modern and paintwork in excellent condition. The bathroom was new with toiletries provided. The only down...

Lovely pub very friendly staff. Very nice room with four poster bed. Excellent full English breakfast and lovely evening meals. Would definitely stay there again. Very well placed, only 30 minutes from Newcastle. Corbridge is a lovely old town well worth a visit.

We stayed at The Wheatsheaf for Valentines weekend and loved every minute of it. The hotel is in a lovely quiet village called Corbridge (but 10 mins in car to local busy Hexham) and also not too far from Newcastle. Our evening meal (first night) and breakfast each morning were included in our stay and all the food was delicious...

Well placed pub with rooms in Roman Corbridge. Recently refurbished rooms. I had a large room with modern four poster. Large bathroom. Flattered to deceive a bit. Bathroom had a new double ended bath. However the hot water pressure could only muster a trickle. Thus I think it would take some 20 mins to fill. No shower, or at least...
