Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hotel is a bit old, some maintenance and upgrading is required. The hotel room size is ok but a little bit smelly. Its location is a bit far from the centre of Trang town. Not many facilities in the hotel but having a very fast and impressive wifi. The hotel is still reasonably acceptable at the value you pay..

Stayed for 2 nights attending a wedding so was just a place to crash and it ticked that box perfectly. Room was clean if a little dated. Had an LCD TV and a Fridge. Bathroom only seemed to have hot water in the morning. Breakfast was a little poor and the coffee was like battery acid. Its about a mile outside the main centre of Trang so having a hire car helped. The Karaoke in the evenings was awful - not the hotels fault but never seen so many genetically tone deaf individual in one room! Overall you gets what you pay for and with the very fast and impressive wifi in the lobby this serves the puprpose and would be happy to stay there againI would give it a better than average rating as its above average but not quite very good

Both elevators smelled of very bad body odor and the carpets in the hallway were stained. The rooms are in very good and well-maintained condition. The Thumrin hotel would probably be a better choice which isn't much more per room and is much closer to the center of town.

Creepy, smelly and overpriced. This place turns into a "kareoke" party in the evening. In Thailand there's a different meaning. When we tried to order food they didn't have over 3/4 of what was on their menu. We had to walk to the 7 eleven across the street and get yogurt and chips for dinner. The rooms were ok...but had a strange smell to them. They also charged me 800 baht to do a small bag of laundry!

I visited Trang for a meeting at a five star hotel in town. My friend reserved this hotel for me on a single room basis. The room is just 850 THB/night. The room is fine, clean with air condition, and tv. The bath tower may need to be replaced.
Breakfast is ok for me. There are hybrid bicycle services for guest free of charge. This hotel can be improved significantly with more effective management. It worths the value you paid.

Location was a bit isolated and not much in nearby area, we only stayed 1 night which was fine.

Room was basic and fairly old but clean, restaurant served a mix of Thai and Western food which was quite good, breakfast however was not.

If you are in Transit and just need one night then Wattana Park is ok

We stayed here for a night and that was more than enough. We ended up staying here because we needed a place for the night and it was the only hotel name my boyfriend remembered. The lobby's OK... but the room, hallways and elevator are pretty crap to say the least. The hallways are pretty dingy and smelly and sometimes dirty sheets and things were just left in the hallway. It wasn't very clean in the room and the bathroom was small... and basically I tried not to touch things. There was no shower head - it was just water coming out of a spout. Haha! The TV had some good channels but it was seriously old, one of those old box TVs that makes a loud ringing noise.

Breakfast was included, but it was all cold when we went down for it. The tables and chairs were manky and it was all just generally uninviting. Saying all this though, the staff were friendly and seemed to try their best with their limited English so we would like to thank them. We paid 900 baht for the room & I'm not sure if you can get better deals in the area.
