The receptionist was lovely and she made the stay pleasant for us, she was helpful & despite the language difference we managed to communicate effectively. The room was large and clean and adequate especially for the good price. Good points included all day coffee/ tea, working wifi in reception and good location

The hotel's location is perfect: near the train station and markets. The rooms are very clean, wide and comfy so that you hardly would find any place like that (quality-price). The WiFi is excellent. Some rooms have balconies, I recommend those. The room where we stayed didn't have windows, so it was difficult to guess if it was day or night. The negative is the eternal check-in process and a bit "extrambotic" lady of the reception (although she was friendly)

We stay in Trang for one night and this place was suprice! Low budget, but everything new, very nice room, cleanand modern bathroom. We have room with window to small garden. Air condition and refrigerator, wau, for this price it's not standard, I think. Beds are big and comfortly. Good to know that in morning if you open window you can hear children from the school near by. We can only say Thank you for this place and we recommended it to others.

I first had a non window room(which there are only 2) the first night. Huge room and bed, A/C. Bathroom and TV. I asked to be moved to a window room the next day and it is fantastic. It is beside a school so a little noisy, but super quite at night. If you plan a stay in Trang, which has good night markets but not much else, this place is great. I'm here for 4 nights just laying low over Christmas and saving a lot of money

This hotel is budget for what you get, which is excellent air con and a hot shower! The beds are comfy. Sheets are really smooth. Only snacks sold so no food or meals. Location is a short walk from the main street. It was a lovely room, though wefound a much cheaper hotel round the corner of the train station called station in, though that place didn't have aircon and was morw budget as you can imagine, which we didn't mind.

Great room-clean with an excellent bathroom. Lady at the desk a little strange, but had little as possible to do with her. Good towels, great location. Good quiet sleep. Delicious cake in the morning and free access tea and coffee. Better than some of the hotels around Trang. Would recommend this place.

The rooms and bathrooms in this guesthouse have just been renovated. Our room was spacious, very light and painted in bright colours. All the wiring has been renewed, the beds were new, and so was the tv. The other furniture (desk, chair, and wardrobe) had not been replaced and looked old and worn. The room had access to a balcony overlooking the garden, and with a view towards the mountains in the distance. Nice, but no furniture provided. The renovation isn't quite done yet: the garden is full of rubbish and building materials, the lobby is dark and unfinished. On the first floor there is a table where you can help yourself to tea and coffee, but the hot water urn was switched off most of the time, and when I switched it on, and came back after a while, I found that it had been switched off again. Altogether, this made the place feel a bit unwelcoming. The rooms at the back have the advantage of the green views (see above) but the disadvantage of being in full view of and close proximity to a large school which is quite noisy, with amplified speeches that go on forever and singing of the national anthem at 8 am. Do not count on having a lie in :-)

U Sabuy is located on a small alley so there is no traffic noise. However, you walk to night food market and train station in 5 minutes. The hotel is really, really lovely place. They have just renovated so everything is super shiny and new. Our room had balcony, big windows & lots of natural light, beautiful blue walls, luxurious soft bed linen and towels (instead of just a fleece you get in many cheaper places). And the room was HUGE! (There's TV and closet too but we didn't try them.) Much bigger than my entire home in Helsinki... :D. In bathroom, there's hot water rainshower and a designer hands washing sink. So beautiful tiles too! Like in a home decoration magazine. The staff isn't really talkative in English but why should they be? There's even a hot water boiler, mugs and coffee at second floor where one can fix coffee/tea for free. I guess when their renovation is over (they were renovating the reception when we stayed) there will be a garden at first floor. Now it was covered in planks, paint buckets etc. but I bet it will be so cool after couple of weeks. One of best hotels I have ever stayed in. Highly recommended!

the overall condition is still considered good during my stay. however, some maintenance needed before it runs down i.e. painting (killed mosquitoes blood stains on walls), patch up broken ceiling, re-do English and Chinese notices in room (broken languages). I met with 3 staffs there. communication has been a problem with ALL of them.

True to most of the reviews. Basic but very clean and spacious room. Very convenient to the night market (on Saturday) and also, near the wet market in the morning. We drove from Malaysia and there is no problem with the parking. Easy access. They will not clean the room unless you request for it. Also, there is no lift or elevator. Have to climb up the stairs - but only 3 storeys. Overall, an affordable and nice place to stay. Will stay there again if we are in Trang.
