Very friendly pub that has a really nice atmosphere. Stayed in the lodge for 3 nights and the rooms were clean and comfortable and good value. Great local music every night when we stayed but not sure if that's every night. Had 3 meals here and all were good. Even the haggis strudel which didn't sound that nice to me,...

Stayed here as a couple on Saturday 5th Nov. I booked in advance using their website. The price for a double room was £90. Our room was good. it looked as if it had been recently renovated. Clean and had everything I needed. we had a small issue with hot water but it was sorted for us within 5mins of...

We stopped by here after a long walk at the fairy pools for a very late lunch, hoping they did good food and allowed dogs in. We were not disappointed! My husband and sister had the beef burgers, and I had the spicy bean. They were all delicious, and were extremely generous portions, although if I was being really picky...

Great little pub holding all the traditional values that were expected. The welcome was warm and we where seated and waited on in no time. The food was well presented and on good time. The high priced value for a family of four was expected when miles from anywhere and in a tourist hot spot. One little error was that...

Had a really nice cup of coffee so we decided to stop in later for food. Big Mistake - we both had a burger (one venison, one beef) both dry and tasteless, the bread roll was rock solid, at least a couple of days old. Only redeeming factor was the chips that came with the burger otherwise it would be...

We went for a lunch time meal on Tuesday and the food was lovely. The atmosphere was really nice and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend this inn. It is very handy when visiting the taliskar distillery

If you fancy trying dinner here, it would be well advisable to book in advance as both times we visited it was very busy indeed. The bar is not very big but is very popular as there is not a lot of competition or alternative places to eat in the surrounding area. Food was fairly average but served quickly and...

We stayed in the Waterfront Bunkhouse. Our six bunk room (Ship's Dock) gave excellent views over the Loch and was spacious, clean and comfortable with a wash hand basin. The showers were adequate. The kitchen/common room was spacious and well equipped, except for a shortage of mugs/glasses. We ate dinner in the busy pub/restaurant, which only accepts reservations for large...

We visited on Sunday afternoon and had tea and scones, the scones were freshly baked. We enjoyed our afternoon so much we returned for dinner on Wednesday night. A good selection on the menu as well as a few specials on the board. We had burgers, generous portions and the chips were amazing. A lovely pub atmosphere, plenty of room...

Popped in to this cozy and well positioned pub for a late lunch expecting general pub fair and was pleasantly surprised. I had the Haggis,Neeps n Tatties in a filo pastry with a tasty whiskey gravy and it was beautiful. We sat outside with our dog in a nice rear benched garden area with a fantastic unspoilt view of Loch...
