We stayed in a very nice room called the Nook. The view over the Loch is beautiful and even though Storm Babet hit the East coast while we were there the room was warm and cosy. Fiona and Andy were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and filling. Particularly the traditional Scottish breakfast (loved the square sausage) and the porridge. There's also a comfy living room available to the guests. They have two nice dogs. We would definitely stay there again.

From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we felt welcomed and pampered by Fiona and Andy. Our Garden Room was very comfortable with attention to little details making our stay feel extra special. We are dog lovers, so we especially enjoyed meeting their two well behaved and affectionate dogs, Benji and Barney. It rained hard during our visit and still the views were lovely. Andy and Fiona’s breakfasts were wonderful. One morning it was a delight to hear Andy sing along to an old Beatle’s song while preparing our food. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to chat with them both. If our travels take us back to Scotland, we will definitely stay at Waters Edge Cottage B&B.

Stayed here at the start of October when the huge deluge of rain hit Scotland. The owners are extremely welcoming and chatty. They told us the places to go for, drinks, views and walks. Their breakfasts are superb too. The room was great with a TV and wardrobe in it. There was also a little chill area with a seat and a radio, with a complementary wee dram. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We were welcomed very warmly by Fiona. Fiona and Andy are wonderful hosts, we felt so much at home abroad. We had the most fantastic stay - unfortunately only one night. We had a very clean and nice room with a fantastic view of the Loch Lomond. Sipping a little whisky while enjoying the views of the loch was just amazing upon our arrival. Breakfast was very good with a great choice of fruit, cereals, warm dishes, coffee, tea and much more. Should we return to the area we will for sure stay with Fiona and Andy again and can only recommend this lovely place.

From start to finish both Andy and Fiona could not have been more helpful. The full Scottish breakfast is a must and the recommendations of things to do and places to go were fantastic. We took our two dogs, one of which is nervous and both of our hosts went over and above to make us and the dogs feel relaxed, welcome and at home. We were only planning on staying two nights but added on a third because we loved it so much. The views and access to the loch is incredible, literally steps away from your bedroom! We cannot believe and will not hear that there is a better place to stay on the loch than Waters Edge. We will definitely be back and next time -for longer!

This B&B is fabulous, possibly the best that we have stayed in. The location on the shore of Loch Lomond is simply stunning, with beautiful views from our bedroom (The Cranny). The hosts Andy & Fiona are a lovely friendly couple. They made us feel very welcome at the initial meet & greet and throughout our stay. Our bedroom / bed was very comfortable and the host even left complimentary whisky in our room! The breakfast was lovely and of a high standard. A very enjoyable stay and we would love to visit again in the future.

This was our 3rd stay at Waters Edge and once again we had a super stay. Fiona and Andy are so friendly and welcoming, it truly is a pleasure to return! The location is superb, with Loch Lomond immediately outside and Balloch is within walking distance or a short drive. There are also a few other large hotels with bars and restaurants only a few minutes walk away. We stayed in the Cottage suite again and it really does offer a fantastic space to relax and enjoy the view. Everything is spotless and the bed is so comfortable! Breakfast is a real experience, with a great choice available and hot food cooked to order with quality ingredients .... added to that Fiona and Andy's genuine hospitality make this a wonderful way to start the day. We didn't really use the guest lounge, but the honesty fridge is a fantastic idea making it easy to grab some refreshments if you want to stay in the B&B and enjoy the wonderful gardens overlooking Lock Lomond. Thank you Fiona and Andy for another lovely stay. We will be back and would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

One of the best B&Bs that we've stayed at, from the friendliness of Fiona and Andy, the quality of the bedrooms and bedding, to the fantastic breakfast and amazing views. Nothing was too much trouble, and my husband enjoyed the complimentary whisky in the room.

The hosts Fiona and Andy are just the best. They always have greetings and smiles for you and love to join in to have a great conversation on any topic. The B&B is lovely and comfortable. The breakfast is made to order and delicious. There is a gorgeous view of the Loch. We would return any time for a visit.

Superb B&B. Fiona and Andy are perfect hosts. They really make you feel at home and have are very informative of the local area. Water’s Edge Cottage is in a beautiful setting with a wonderful view of Loch Lomond. Breakfast was delicious. The decanter of malt and the Scottish tablet were a very nice touch. We’ll definitely be back.
