This a very comfortable if a bit old fashioned hotel. Has a small pool and a nice garden at the back. Breakfast was uninspiring and the staff were few. I would stay again because of it's charm as a former monestary.

Cherasco is hardly anything compared with other towns in Piemonte, Hotel Somaschi is big, clean and without life. Rooms are fine we had two bathrooms, view was fine( second floor) , but the staff is apparently not there for us, very formal (monks or nuns) no life and interesse in the guest. Breakfast is awful but the very formal and...

This old monastery turned into a hotel on a hill side of Cherasco is great place for a long weekend break. The hotel is quiet and well maintained, rooms are fairly good sized. We had a two level junior suit (nice) and my other family members had family room (2 separate rooms- ideal for families with children). Grounds are well...

We loved this splendid converted monastery hotel! The ambience of the hotel is amazing...you have all the modern amenities you need but the historical character of the building shines magnificently and most of the original features remain intact and well presented. The staff have a very high level of customer service awareness and are very helpful, friendly and polite. Our room...

No service Only ONE staff for reception+concierge. At times even nobody. Once after waiting for a long time we had to make an international call while in front of reception to find a staff. On arrival no porter assistance; our driver and guide had to carry luggages. No public space No decent lounge, bar, health center. Avoid duplex rooms Besides...

This beautiful hotel, on a hill and set in magnificent gardens with a small swimming pool plus garden pools, was once a monastery!! The room had beautiful white decor with black marbled bathroom (with exhaust fan) and a very comfortable bed. Wonderful shower with enormous shower head. Everything spotlessly clean, good safe, English TV channels but A/C poor and a...

Lovely hotel with really helpful staff clean well furnished rooms, (air con a bit noisy) nice pool and grounds, superb Walter eynard restaurant with gourmet food but at reasonable prices, wish we had longer to look around old town and visit chocolate factories and shops! Good secure parking for motorbikes

What a find! This beautiful old monastery was converted to a high class hotel. Beautiful rooms, great public spaces, great views. Worth a large detour! A little hard to find since the place is minimally signaled!

We spent 4 nights in Cherasco as basis for day trips to various smaller towns and vineyards. Absolutely stunning building, our family suit room was fantastic and beautiful. Helpful and very nice staff. Pool was great, the hotel could improve the look and feel of the pool area a notch. On one evening we had dinner in the Walter Eynard...

First time in Cherasco and we fell in love with the village totally. Specially thx to this amazing hotel. Extremly friendly and professional staff helped us with perfect information and also with all wines and baggage that we had in our car. Because its easy access both in front of and behind the hotel. The old monastery is quit and...
