Plastic cups in bathroom and chicken wire covering a faux closet. All for $120€ per night if staying just one night ($100 €\night otherwise). Bed not comfortable either. I hope the hosts take this honest, accurate criticism to heart and make changes. By far the worst B&B in value and objective, comparative terms during our 3 week travels in France....

Our stay with Christine and Erik was warm and welcoming. My husband and I undertook a fabulous cooking course under Christine's guidance and what fun we had. We then enjoyed the fruits of our labour with good wines and great company. The next day we traveled to Avignon and Orange and enjoyed wine tasting and then travelled back to Christine...

Though we were not risking too much since Jardin de Bacchus was suggested to us by good friends still we were amazed by the hospitality of Christine and Erik. Tavel is lovely town where we spent 3 nights in different restaurants upon our host's suggestion, all good choices. The bedrooms are nice and comfortable, the garden and swimming pool are...

What makes this B&B so special is the hosts, Erik and Christine. The rooms are spotless, the decor is eclectic. The patio, bar, pool and hot areas are large, spacious and offer lots of space to rest, relax and have a glass of the local rose. Christine always has the very best suggestions on what to see and do for...

We stayed here for four nights at the beginning of July 2013. It was lovely. Very peaceful and relaxing. Christine and Erik were great hosts, giving us lots of inside information (like where to park for free in Avignon, trips to do, the best routes to take, information about local towns and attractions). They were also great fun and we...

found this Inn thru Rick Steves travel book and it seems to be okay. Very clean, but our room had a bit of smell--maybe mold, I don't know. Downstairs smelled okay. I am probably just too sensitive to smells. We were too early in the season to enjoy the outdoors. They had a LOT of outdoor comforts. I can see...

We stayed 4 nights and days in May and had a lovely time. Christine and Eric were welcoming and provided delicious and entertaining dinners. We had 2 cooking classes and found Christine to be knowledgeable and instructive. Tavel is a beautiful little town with several good restaurants. Christine went out of her way to make a birthday dinner in town...

This was my first trip to Provence (with a friend) and now, even 9 months after our visit, we still reminisce fondly about our three days with Christine and Erik. First of all, there was some confusion about dates with the travel company which booked us there, and if it weren't for Christine following up efficiently with everyone involved, we...

Me and my fiancee (american expats living in the Netherlands ) this was our second trip to southern france. The place was recommended by a friend of mine. I convinced my wife who wanted to go to a hotel to try a B&B for a change. What a fantastic experience, the feeling of having a local wine with great views,...

“The room on the lower floor next to the kitchen was everything we needed, as well as having the charm of tile floors, a modern bathroom, and lots of storage space. Looking out at the vineyard through the open door was very relaxing, and the bed was very comfortable.”
