Amazing little hidden gem! Loved the family run hotel with a beautiful perfect temperature pool. Renovated bathroom and delicious wine and food! Short drive from Gavi town. Reasonable pricing and very beautiful property/nature/view.

We stayed in hotel 5 days. There are very hospitable owners. It is a beautiful place and tasty cake for breakfast!!!

I spent only three nights there at Nonna Du - although I booked for a week - and I must say that I felt like I was a friend and not a paying visitor! They are such friendly and hospitable people! They invited me to watch football games with them and they were so prodigal that I forgot I didn't know them until few days ago! I totally recommend this place!

Absolutely loved the place. Calm, clean, small family runned place in the round hills on the outskirts of Gavi in Piemonte. Fantastic owner family, five rooms and a nice pool and sunbathing lawn area. Small dinner restaurant in the evening. Very affordable prices. Would really love to go back!

This well run B&B/Agriturismo is very used to having guests and making them feel welcome. Gavi is somewhat more touristic then Valsesia and Gattinara area although less them Langhe (Barolo, Alba, Asti). The owners really made us feel welcome even when arriving at the start of their 2-year old's birthday party. We were upgraded to the Suite apartment (note no minibar, no windows to open in the bedroom, but great view and A/C to compensate). Although it took the A/C to compensate the extreme temperatures this week after fiddling a bit it did the job. The owners are ever so kind and know to balance how much attention and help you want. We asked for the best wineries to visit (and really enjoyed to visit La Chiara, well English spoken too). Our laundry was done when I asked for a bucket even though we didn't see a laundry service being offered. Dinner was nice and good, and a good compensation but only offering a 3-course (pasta, no secondo). The Gavi served white wine is good, family production. The location is great for diner too, nice and quiet, great views. With a it of luck you can enjoy a great sunset over the mountains (tramonto) while sun bathing or in the pool. We also used the BBQ. This is next to the dinner tables so we felt uncomfortable using it with other guests having their dinner (made by the owners) as well. We did have a chance to be alone one day and it was so great!!! So quiet, great BBQ and the owners offered to provide anything we needed and even turned down the lights for the more romantic touch (and played an air-guitar for a while, and then turn in the restaurant music, thanks Giacomo!). Really nice. We really enjoyed this place even though we usually prefer even smaller places (4 rooms in total), and less touristic. We would go back.

Amazing hostess who made us super comfortable. Nice room with nice beds and antique decor. Close to the town of Gavi and serravalle outlet. Not to mention though that you need a car to reach here as well as to explore the area. Parking is free. Breakfast was decent (though not hot).
If you are driving built in navigation may or may not guide you to the right address - so use google maps. My Audi navigation didn't know the address but google map worked.

Located exactly an hour drive from Milan, Nonna Du is an excellent place to getaway for a weekend in the foothills. The owners are always extremely kind and attentive to our needs (we have been more than once). The rooms are comfortable, the view beautiful and there is a medium sized pool overlooking the hills that is perfect for a late afternoon swim. Ilaria puts together a wonderful breakfast of homemade cakes, yogurt, fresh fruit and more. Nearby Gavi has several nice places to eat and the area is know for it's white wines.

Nice and confortable B&B near Gavi and Serravalle outlet. We stayed in a very spacious, well-decorated and confortable room. The room was well-equipped: TV, hair-drier, complimentary tea and coffee. Wi-finworked well. The host was very helpful and pleasant. We really appreciated the breakfast, with some home-made items.

After a long day on the road we were welcomed like family on arrival at Nonna Du. The lovely pool, amazing backdrop of the Gavi countryside, well furnished room and great hospitality had us refreshed and relaxed in no time. Then came dinner - what a feast. From home made focaccia to home cured meats, superb homemade ravioli followed by a masterpiece of Piedmont beef tagliata all washed down by their very own ice-cold Gavi white wine. Just divine. Huge key recommend this amazing, family run slice of heaven.

Nonna Du is a new hiuse with beautifully decorated and well-equipped guest rooms. The location is beautiful at the edge of the forest. Everything is nice and tidy and the young hosts serve you in a friendly and attentive manner. The pool is a gem for refreshment and relaxation. Breakfast is tasty and the house dinner very good, made of local season's ingredients. The house-made wine is young and crispy and goes well with the food.
