For us the castello and its appartments are the most suited for a stay in a relaxed atmosphere. We were welcomed by very friendly, hospital and representative hostess, whoc showed the most beautiful appartments we have ever staid at. Beauifully decorated, spacious, full functioning and complete kitchen and bathrooms, etc. The appartments are located in the (wine) castle complex with... More

We stayed at Castello Di Gabiano for two nights in April and we were really very happy with our choice. We wanted to stay in an authentic working picturesque Tuscan winery and Gabiano ticked all the boxes. There is a lot of accommodation to choose from in Chianti however after driving nearly every kilometre of the scenic roads in the... More

Castello di Gabiano has all the potential to become a great hotel. We enjoyed the beautiful views and trips to nearby Turin. The hotel itself consists of old authentic buildings around the castle, so we stayed in what felt like our own appartment, that was furnished in a very stylish way. On the downside, there were some points of improvement,... More

Very nice room overlooking the castle, excellent location. Very pleasant park with lots of tree species and a funny vegetal labyrinth. Fully equipped kitchen, you make your own coffee and have breakfast in the room with good products provided by the property. Very simple and basic service, uncomplicated. Everything works well, including internet.

This is new property and the design is modern and beautiful. Very comfortable beds, AC, quiet rooms, extremely clean. Beautiful grounds with views of vineyards, park and maze to take a walk. Helpful and accomodating hosts - we were offered late check-out free of charge. The property is about an hr drive from Turin with fantastic restaurants nearby. Wine tasting... More

The appartments are newly refurbished, with a lot of taste and attention to details. This property is still under the radar, but make no mistake, its charme and atmosphere are unique! The rooms are beautifully designed. We had a complementary wine tasting and wine tour of the premises, in addition to a tour of the castle. My stay was beyond... More

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in one of the lovely rustic apartments, the facilities were just what we needed, giving us the choice of fending for ourselves or having breakfast served in our apartment, which we did a couple of times, we were spoilt with what was served, they even set out breakfast at the dining table... We had a lovely apartment at the Castello. The only downside is no housekeeping is provided and the breakfast is self serve. The staff is friendly and happy to help, however, the location is far from any major sights or towns....if you are coming to the Piedmont wine country for the first time,I'd suggest staying nearer to Alba which is... The town of Gabiano is quiet far from any major town, but there are plenty of day trips to take. The castle was lovely and the room was beautiful. We arrived late so the gate keeper was waiting for us. The room was stocked with lots of beautiful local treats, like honey and cookies. They even had a nespresso machine... More
