Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hello we stayed in Casa 14 absolutely stunning lodge was welcomed at reception by jenny this is our 4th stay and jenny has delt with us before she’s an absolute credit to Woodhall . Lovely peaceful stay and they made a fuss of our dog George . Visited the Indian in Woodhall spa 3 times in 1 week that’s how good it is and they bring it to to the Barrier . Everything was there and the lodge was immaculate the cleaners do a amazing job even the young girl who checked the hot tub with brown hair told me she had been there couple of years was so friendly n chatty think she had glasses on absolutely fantastic well done 5star service

Had a super four night family stay over the October half term in a lake view lodge with hot tub. Lodge was well equipped, very clean and had a luxurious feel about it. The hot tub was great and was enjoyed by all, a real bonus that it was covered! The outlook of the lodge overlooking the lake was lovely and peaceful, and we were regularly visited by a goose! Visited the Village Limits restaurant next door to the park for a meal one evening, and can highly recommend it. It would be good if there was a path between the holiday park and the restaurant though, as we had to walk along the main road with no pavement in the dark to get to it. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book again. 😁

Arrived 3.53 told check in 7 mins at 4pm as ' full' .Even better if....a tin opener that works! A few dishwasher tablets . Larger notice about noise until 11pm. As per last few visits - all female group next door - not adverse to people having fun - but three nights in a row with music is a lot! So awake until after 11 when they finally go inside!! Maybe make time 1Opm for those wishing to enjoy a quiet break . Paying £15 for wifi is an added extra cost. You may be lucky and have no groups next to you .Although check out is 10am be aware to use hot tub early as asked not to use after 8 am as get drained and cleaned . May look for quieter and better value for money on next woodhall short stay.

My wife and I stayed in a Lakeside Lodge for 4 nights in September. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady in reception who welcomed us to the park and gave us information about the park. We drove to the lodge and immediately loved the view of the lake. The lodge was spacious with a good sized kitchen Diner and lounge area. One double bedroom and a twin. Two bathrooms, one with shower and one with a freestanding bath and built in TV. Outside was a decking area with picnic table and a large hot tub. The largest hot tub we have ever had. The hot tub was treated twice a day. You do have to pay for your Wi Fi but we used our phones and not the sites own WiFi. The site in general has a number of different style lodges including pods and one bedroomed woodland lodges. There was also camping facilities for people who wanted to bring their own caravan or tourers. It was a clean site and we experienced no negative issues at all. It is also ideally based about a mile outside the village itself and also near the world famous Kinema in the Woods. Definitely plan to visit again sometime in the future and would totally recommend.

This was our first time at Woodall Country Park, We visited with friends in our touring caravans for a week in September. The positives: decent sized pitches, nice surroundings with easy access to the lovely town of Woodhall Spa, and great little bar next to the lake. Sadly, the toilet/ shower facilities really let the site down. On our arrival they were dirty, looked poorly maintained and definitely need an update, I checked out the other 2 shower blocks and one of them was marginally better. The laundry facilities weren’t great either and seem to be used by the staff for washing copious numbers of white dressing gowns!! The lodges around the park looked lovely and it felt as though there had been great investment in these but to the detriment of the touring site. A great shame as there is real potential to enhance the whole site, enough said we won’t be going back.

First time here and we absolutely loved our stay. We stayed in the Oakwood cabin in the woods. Fantastic accommodation. Everything you need for a vet cost and pleasant stay. We even saw a deer on 2 of the nights. The staff were all lovely and the young girl running the pop up bar was very lovely too. It’s a very small but quiet park and local to many things should you wish to venture out. Otherwise it’s a peaceful stay and we will definitely be back.

We are regular returning visitors to this site, I love the layout of the site and it’s great if you have dogs as there is a walking area on site and a lovely play area. The toilet and shower areas are kept clean. We camp and the pitches are a good size (some better than others) but you can choose your pitch so this isn’t an issue. Staff are always friendly and helpful, looking forward to returning again this summer.

First visit and we stayed in a Hideaway. These are small but have everything you need for a base to explore the area. The outside space is idyllic and we enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The shower is quite small so on one occasion we decided to use the shower block. Public shower is a first ever for me but I was pleasantly surprised. The cubicles were very spacious and clean. Water pressure was amazing and gave you a massage at the same time. Staff were extremely helpful and assistance was quick. Beautiful area with some lovely places to eat out. Lovely holiday. Thanks

My husband and i stayed in a lodge at woodhall country park this week. The lodge was immaculately clean, had everything you needed for a stay there including iron, ironing board, hand wash etc. The hot tub was lovely, and my husband loved the fishing there. The only negative, which actually was a big negative for me was no wifi at our lodge. We tried to access the internet numerous times, and the reception told us to phone the internet comapny which we did. After two minutes we were cut off on the phone. Whilst my husband was fishing, i intended to carry on with my online learning course. We both work, have very busy lives with children and dogs, and just wanted to chill out for a while. My husband is waiting for major surgery, so we couldn't venture very far. It was a massive minus for us to be honest. Plus you have to pay for wifi if you can get it! This was not indicated on the hoseasons literature. This however, was the only negative. The staff were lovely and helpful. Woodhall spa is absolutely stunning as a place to visit too.

Arrived Friday for 3 nights to meet up with friends using motorhome. Loud, noisy music on Friday until after 11:00 pm and worse on Saturday! Large group of campers celebrating a 9th birthday were responsible. We were told that they were excessively loud until 1:00 am on Thursday. 😞. Yes, they were evicted on Saturday but 2 of our 3 nights were ruined by being unable to sleep. Why were they allowed to stay after upsetting everyone on Thursday? No offer of deduction of fees paid or a discount voucher to compensate. 😡
