My boyfriend and I were camping at Tietiesbaai when Mother Nature turned on us and so we decided to take a night at formal known as "The Beach Camp" and revamped and renamed "The Sea Shack" and I could not have been more pleased. The faculties have been completely rebuilt. Amazing cottages located right on the bay. When you arrive...

My friend, boyfriend and I travelled to the Beach Camp sometime in winter. I had the flu and the manager went out of her way to assist me with medication etc. I loved spending time there and am currently planning to take my family there

My boyfriend has stayed at the beach camp before and talked so much about it. So we were looking forward to staying there on our road-trip along the west coast. The location is awesome and the camp is very simple, rustic and perfect for a beach camp. We really don't have anything bad to say about the camp itself &...

We visited The beach Camp as a family for my birthday. It was in August/September, so we were the only visitors. So, luckily we had all the facilities to ourselves. The tents and beds were comfy and well maintained and we spent the whole evening sitting at the fire and staring at the ocean. We were also blessed with an...

I booked this place for a romantic weekend any! This is situated in an awesome location, but were disappointed with the facilities. Not value for what you pay at all. Worst part is there is no individual braai facilities, all the people at the camp needs to share one!

Such a beautiful untouched spot - tents literally on the beach, all the amenities you need and such peace and quiet. Bring head torches, ice and warm clothes! Unfortunately the heavy mists meant a fog horn kept us up our last night - but all par for the course for staying on the sea on this wild and untouched coastline....

The Beach Camp is surrounded by beauty and rather primitive. I can't say that I expected anything more but for some reason we were a little disappointed. Both the ladies that manage the camp is very helpful and friendly and do their best to accommodate all. For me the beach camp was too crowded and unfortunately we struck a weekend...

The photos make this camp look tidier and a bit more glamorous than it is; we were a bit surprised by the rough and tumble setup, the worn out fishing nets, and the utter lack of electricity. The "Danish" toilets became a running joke with us, but at least they didn't smell bad! And a noisily yipping dachshund threatened to...

Loved sleeping on the stretchers! Excellent showers! Hospitality queen, Sonya, is a real darling, with soft, kind words and welcoming everybody with lovely kind spirit. I definitely wanna go...

If I had to go camping in style, it would have cost me a small fortune to gather all the camping gear for a comfortable sleep and a quick get away - never mind the cost of the trailer to cart all the stuff with me. I love this place with its comfy couches and hot showers and ecofriendly toilets...
