We had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay at Les Marguerites. Antionette is a fantastic host and really made us feel at home. The pool is stunning and is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Rooms are big, spacious and in keeping with the style of the property. We slept well. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the company of the other guests at breakfast and dinner- it was nice to converse with people from different corners of the world. Would love to go back one day.

Everything was fabulous, from the hosts, the food , the room , the cleanliness to the personalised care we received. The breakfasts were a treat and evening meals cooked by Antoinette, with a distinctive French flavour . Great wines too

I’ve just returned from the loveliest week at Les Marguerites, in the pretty medieval village of Alet le Bain. Surrounded by mountains , grape vines and sitting beside the river Aude. My friends and I were celebrating a birthday, and this was the perfect place. We were treated to wonderful food, luxurious comfortable rooms and relaxing laid back atmosphere, yoga and massages. As well as celebration dinner and dancing!! Antoinette, Keith and the family are great hosts. Nothing was too much and they are a hive of local information. We visited Carcassonne, Rennes de Château, and the local market town of Limoux. I understand Antoinette runs health and well being retreats here. What a fabulous idea. I’m looking forward to coming back. Thank you Antoinette, for all your hard work in making the week spent at Les Marguerites so magical.

Les Marguerites is a very special place. I arrived in April for a six day stay; I truly did not want to leave. Antoinette and Keith are remarkable hosts; showing care and attention to details. Antoinette's cooking is second to none. I am already planning to return this year.

Les Marguerites in the medieval village of Alet-les-Bains is in a word "joyful." The village in itself is magical with walks and wonders to explore.Nestling in the mountains you are given a " hug " by mother earth and less than a hour from the coast you will not want to leave.Les Marguerites itself is a haven where nothing is too much for the hosts Antionette and Keith.I had an ensuite double room with an adjoining sitting room and felt like a princess.Les Marguerites is an 18th Century House with original features furnished with tasteful care and character.I was lucky enough to have three nights with a group of 12 celebrating a special birthday. Our hosts facitated a bespoke event and full use of the facilities including the large kitchen ( where a group art session was held) the welcoming hall ( where a banquet feast dinner party was held ) the large lounge ( where group games and chats took place) I haven't mentioned the outdoor yoga session in the extensive gardens and "bought in"massage or the outdoor pool. Les Marguerites also holds "Retreats" and would be excellent for group holidays or family gatherings.Nothing is too much for Les Marguerites welcoming and gracious hosts .I am plotting my next visit I highly recommend that you do too.

This is a true gem of a place, and Antoinette and Keith are marvelous hosts. We had such a wonderful time there, it is my favorite place I have ever stayed. The house is clean, charming and spacious. The breakfasts, which we ate out in the garden were lavish and delicious. The pool a welcome respite from the heat wave while we were there. The village is so interesting and the springs are a delight. We took easy trips to the nearby towns for dinner, market shopping and sight seeing and were always happy to return. Some mornings, we just relaxed in the garden over our huge breakfast for hours. I highly recommend Les Marguerites as the perfect French chateau for a relaxing and very comfortable visit to southern France. The area is fascinating and there are many unique historical places to visit as well.

Every time we travel to the south of France we stay here . There is no other place like it . Travelling from Australia we appreciate the wonderful family atmosphere and comforts of home they always provide . Great rooms , extremely comfortable beds you are reluctant to get out of and marvellous breakfasts. Now they have added a beautiful pool and outdoor relaxing area to cap it off . Well done .

We’ve just had a delightful 3 night stay at Les Marguerites with hosts Antoinette & Keith. The house is stunning, so well located for a number of local attractions. It was very hot so the pool was much appreciated! Antoinette was most helpful & just the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble & she set a beautiful tone for the stay. We would very much recommend Les Marguerites.

On 4th September 2021 Antoinette and Keith and their family hosted the most fantastic wedding reception at Les Marguerites for our daughter Erica and son in law Cameron. Many guests stayed in this charming private hotel with its new outdoor heated pool and availed of the superb facilities. All our guests at the wedding waxed lyrical at the ambience, the gourmet dining and the top class service from the entire family. No request was too much trouble and the outdoor sunny garden was a fabulous backdrop for the wedding banquet which continued to the wee small hours. The following day we had a second sumptuous luncheon feast dining alfresco for over 100 guests. It truly was the romantic wedding of the decade and a weekend to cherish for ever. Thank you Antoinette and Keith!

I just stopped at the cafe for a cup of tea on a rainy afternoon and was delighted by a warm, family welcome which was soon accompanied by lashings of crumble. I shall make a point of heading straight back on my next trip to have a proper look around!
