Knew we had to avoid Alberobello but wanted to stay in Trulli country and this place looked charming and good value - plus it had a pool. How would we know that early June is too soon for pools in Puglia?! So - it's pretty much in a rural suburban setting on the outskirts of Locorotondo - about a 5... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and regretted not staying for at least one night longer. Everything is clean, good quality and immaculately maintained. The pool is lovely and as there was only one other family staying there we had it to ourselves each time we went. Breakfast is do it yourself with fruit in the fridge,... More

We just visited il Calascione with our one year old son. It's a very nice place and safe environment. Our son could run around in the gardens without any problems or worries of getting injured. It's also close to the city 😀 Also liked the fact that we had a good coffee machine in the room and several snacks and... More

We were totally delighted with this stay. Angela and Antonio are friendly and welcoming, Angela treating us to freshly baked cake and Antonio bring us fruit from their trees. The trullo is lovely and well appointed and great value. Handy to town with a good size pool that we used both days. Would definitely recommend this place.

My wife and I stayed at Il Calascione for three nights in May 2015, and we loved it. The location is absolutely fantastic offering peace and tranquility on the outskirts of Locorotondo. We stayed in a trullo which offered sleeping for four, a well equipped kitchen, bathroom and sitting room, and was well placed for the glorious (and cool) swimming... More

Very nice B&B. We didn't get a breakfast in the morning, but we got a nice cake and fruits and coffee. And the nonna was really nice, she brought us delicious polpette! There was a beautiful swimming pool. I am not sure if you can swim there in spring and during autumn. Very relaxing and quiet place!

A lovely villa, spacious, clean and comes with a very well-equipped kitchen. Beautifully furbished. Only lack of air-refresherner in all the rooms. Quiet surroundings. I will recommend it to travellers. Only convenient for travellers who drove.

looking for a peaceful place to spend our journey in Locorotondo, we found this site of Trulli houses, with good equipment, and space. We were only two in the 3 bedrooms apartment, but it's spacious also for 5 people! wonderful the peace in the swimming pool at morning, with olive trees and the wind to refresh us.

We travelled to Locorotondo in August 2014. When we arrived there, we found that a part of the Villa was occupited for 2 other people. We were a 12 people group so we needed the whole villa that is 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and that was what the owner advertised first. We told him that and he only said... More

We stayed at Il Calascione in early May 2014 for 4 nights. We were two couples and we stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. Although the apartment is built in a traditional trullo style, it has all the amenities and comforts of the 21st century. It has a lounge area with a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom was very spacious,... More
