Orchid Corner is the first B & B of Meta! Since 1999 we have transformed our house in a cozy Guesthouse which occupies a beautiful palace of 1700, located in the historical center of the city of Meta, not so far from Sorrento and a short walk to Alimuri beach. The main door opens on a flowery patio and a lovely terrace where overlook all the rooms. All rooms are about 20/30 square meters with independent entrance, private bathroom and kitchen. Common outdoor areas completely equipped with tables, chairs and bbq. The location is convenient because is well connected to major tourist destinations of Campania: Capri, Ischia, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Positano, Ravello, Amalfi and Naples. Here you will find the perfect combination of good quality accomodation and the typical Neapolitan hospitality.

A true gem! This little hotel managed by Giorgia was absolutely wonderful. It is quiet and quaint, beautifully decorated, and our room (the Yellow Room) was very spacious. We had an upper level with a big bathroom, nice shower, and kitchenette. The bed was large and comfortable. The room was clean and the garden outside was so lovely! A locked car park with shaded parking spots is available for 10€ a day if you are arriving by car. Meta is a beautiful little spot a short way away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Campania! Giorgia alone is worth the visit! She will make you feel so comfortable and welcome!

This is great place! Very quiet, cozy and beautiful. A little bit far from train station, but not far from the beach. Near a lot of little shops and caffe, bus station. Owner Antonio is really amazing person, helpful and kind. Thank you very much for our perfect vacation!

Loved our stay here beautiful rooms friendly hosts amazing breakfast. A real feel of italy would definitely come back.left my purse behind a d they were .most helpful getting it back to me.loved the little shack outside where we had use of what I'd call a mini kitchen fabulous.

If you want to experience real Italian village life and visit wonderful places and also a beautiful beach, then head here! First off, Meta is a lovely quiet village where you get to know the locals very quickly. This B and B is easily located near a bus stop that takes you to the train station and also Sorrento. It is also a 5-10 walk to the amazing beach, where you can rent chairs and umbrellas for the day. Georgia and her dad are wonderful hosts. Georgia can help you with getting around the area and for any other questions you may have. Her father makes a simple and delicious breakfast right at 8:30 am, so dont be late! The house itself is quite old, so you can expect a rustic experience. But your room has everything you need. The terrace was also a beautiful place to relax and spend time with their cats. There is a supermarket, cafe, launderette and small shops within a 5 minute walk. Patty Pizza was our favorite local restaurant, where the ownr and staff was very hospitable ( and gave us free homemade lemoncello!) We will definitely be back again when we need to escape from our own lives for awhile!…

We had the most lovely time here at Orchid Corner . Georgia and her Dad were attentive hosts and helped us achieve a well balanced holiday with rest and activity . The area is convenient for beach and food , trains and walking. We ate at Patty Pizza 4 times finding it the nicest place for good food , fair prices and good service . A lovely atmosphere also . Georgia arranged a boat trip for us which was PERFECT. The accommodation is spacious, clean amd comfortable . We cannot thank you both enough for making our long awaited holiday so memorable. We wanted to visit Sorrento but didn’t want to pay above the odds for somewhere just because it was central, travelling places by public transport didn’t bother us. We came across Yellow Sorrento studios which is part of the Orchid B&B. Well before we made the trip Giorgio one of owners had contacted me on WhatsApp which was a welcome surprise! I could ask if there was an iron, hair dryer etc. When we landed in Naples, we had already had correspondence with Giorgio about the best and cheapest way to get to Meta, this was by bus @ €10 each. The journey took about 50-60 minutes, Giorgio asked us to send a msg when we arrived at Meta Church, which we did and she sent a link so we could find our way via iPhone maps. It was bang on, and we got there in around 15-20 mins. On arrival Giorgio was the most amazing host, showed us a map of where to eat, told us about the beaches and local transport, everything we needed! The stupio was lovely and quirky and again had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. We ventured into Sorrento quite a bit by train which was easy and cheap to do. The only slight bug bear which has nothing to do with Orchid B&B was that, the last train back to Meta was around 9.15pm and we got stung one night in a taxi which was €35 to travel around 4-5 miles! Would definitely visit again! Loved it.…

I was staying last august (21 to 25) in this charming and nice place. A little paradise very close to the sea and all the commodities. The owner was very kind and gave me the best advices to visit the area. A nice and friendly house! Thank you for the welcoming!

We traveled to Meta for a vacation. We booked this B&B, because it is close to the beach. We were worried a little bit when we read the description of the property later and a fan was the only cooling option mentioned there. We were very pleasantly surprised to see an air condition in the room. The room was clean and beside small "cat incident", which was fixed very fast by the owners, everything else was perfect. The yard is very cozy and it was really wonderful to have breakfast outside.

Our favourite place in Italy - great hosts that make you feel welcome from the minute you arrive - rooms are full of character breakfasts on the patio really relaxing. It's so easy to get to sorrento square with its gorgeous restaurants, churches and bars - just 15 mins on a bus from almost outside the door - Go to Capri for the designer clothes shopping it's a must!!!!
