Detailed Reviews
The most stunning location for a hotel.
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, all staff we came across were friendly, helpful and incredibly polite. Nothing was too much hassle for the staff who were always happy to help and give advice, staff were knowledgeable about the local area and ways to get around to see local hotspots.
On arrival we told the hotel we had just got engaged the day before in Venice and when we got to our room we were greeted with a personalised keep-sake card, a mini bottle of Prosecco and a fruit/chocolate board which was a lovely touch.
Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day and the cleaning staff were again, incredibly happy and friendly and always welcoming.
Breakfast was good, plenty for us to eat and plenty of variety, everything you would expect, the coffee machine was fab and gave great hot drinks in the morning… what more could you want when sitting on the terrace looking at the spectacular views.
We ate in the hotel’s two restaurants for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed both meals.
When checking out we were given a bottle of wine made locally - again, a fantastic and personal touch to remember this wonderful hotel.
10/10 would recommend and already have recommended to family and friends.
We would love to come back and see more of what this area has to offer.
Book this hotel and you will not be disappointed. Thank you for such a fantastic experience and stay - you have made our time in Nago Torbole one to remember!

We were traveling from Roma to Poland and decided to stay for one night at Garda Lake. We have chosen Forte Charme and it was absolutely astonishing experience. This 4-star has an epic location on the north side of the lake. Amazing view, free car parking, a roof-top pool (next to the last floor of the hotel), and a tasty restaurant. Next to the hotel is another very good restaurant as an alternative. Moreover, there is a shuttle bus if you plan to visit the city downhill. We had a view from the room with a balcony and I would recommend booking a 1st-floor room where balconies are bigger. In the end, we received wine as a gift and to be honest it was incredibly good. We already planning another visit next year.

I book this hotel for the location that I see from the photos and I must say that I was absolutely not disappointed, as from the photos. I strongly suggest taking rooms with a panoramic view (superior) because it is worth it. Truly exceptional breakfast complete with everything including the view, nice idea of tea time from 3.30pm to 5pm practically with the only B&B formula you just have to dine if you want. In summary everything is very positive including the beautiful swimming pool with a panoramic view. Just two small notes to the always smiling and helpful staff, you don't offer services such as massages which you then fail to provide even if for valid reasons, then if you report the broken phone in the room maybe have it changed immediately and if you report several times that your bag is missing Maybe towels could be provided. Compliments to the guy at the bar for his courtesy and particular willingness to meet all needs. However, a highly recommended location both for enjoying a relaxing break and as a base for excursions in the area

Super service
Great views over Lake Garda and the mountains from balconies and restaurant.
Well furnished rooms, great bathroom.
First class breakfast, the freshest fruit, meats, cheeses, yoghurts, breads, croissant, freshly made pancakes and omelettes, freshly squeezed orange juice. Quite superb.
Anna at reception is a delight. Great advice on wine tasting venues and restaurants.
We will return.
Cannot wait.

Had a fantastic few days at this hotel - I honestly couldn't fault it! The views are stunning. We had room with a lake-faced view which I'd definitely recommend. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help in any way they could. We really enjoyed being able to rent bikes from just outside. The pool is lovely. What more could you ask for?!

Hotel overlooking Lake Garda, very beautiful view from the bedroom terrace. Pleasant and comfortable room, well equipped. We chose half board and the dinner was good and plentiful. Breakfast was varied with egg pancakes and waffles made to order. Everything was so perfect that we wanted to stay one more night, unfortunately the hotel was closing for annual holidays. We received a gift of a bottle of wine upon departure, a very appreciated touch.

Wonderful hotel, staff and breakfast 10/10 cannot fault. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
However, hot tub was far too cold and walls were thin (could hear neighbours watching a film until gone midnight which is obviously not the fault of the hotel but something to bear in mind).
Location ideal for biking, walking or if you'd hired a car.
Fabulous views.

What a wonderful stay at your hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed everything you had to offer. The highlights were definitely the delicious breakfast and the shaded terrace in the morning. The extremely friendly staff was the "cream on the cake"! Truly top-notch! One very small point of attention are the small shower cabins. However, this did not negatively affect our overall impression.

An organized bike ride took us to this incredibly beautifully located hotel. Not only the location but also the facilities, cleanliness and connected gastronomy Al Fortino convinced with top quality across the board and met no beyond all expectations. Top of the line, the incredibly dedicated and friendly staff at the hotel and in the service that literally preceded all wishes was a smooth ten!
Highly recommended. Plus a pleasant international audience.

A breathtaking view and staff of unique kindness. We were given a lake view room even though we had reserved a more modest one. They have a nice breakfast buffet. Very rich and varied, worthy of such a hotel. A small flaw is the cleanliness of the room. They cleaned the shower perfectly but a mop on the floor should also be a must. We passed the towel and I will spare you the photos out of respect for the staff. Even the dust in the bathroom should be removed. Windows and doors not the best. However, as mentioned, excellent quality, price and impressive courtesy

Dartford, United Kingdom25 contributions58 helpful votesWould you recommend hiring a car from Verona airport. Roughly how long does this take from airport to this hotel
We had hired a car in Venice and went to the hotel. It took around 3hours and 30min. The road is panoramic in some point and has amazing views from Garda Lake.
This is the best way to get to the hotel and discover the surrounded area.
world_explorer8910 asked a question Jul 2019
Dartford, United Kingdom25 contributions58 helpful votesIs it worth paying extra for the lake view rooms :)
Definitely
Hi Mr. Peter,
no our Hotel Forte Charme is not in a ZTL zone, usually the ZTL is for cities (as written before for Verona, Florence, Venice, Rome, etz. but for Lake Garda at the moment no ZTL)

Hi Mr. Peter,
what do you mean exactely with ZCS zone? If you mean that you have to pay an entrance fee to the town like in Verona, Venice or Rome, no in our area you do not have to pay. If you mean something just let me know
