My wife and I had a lovely stay at Lemonwood Cottages. The unit we stayed in was clean and beat, with spectacular views from each window. We had everything we needed in terms of the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. One very minor aspect to improve on, and I mean minor, is to get rid of some cobwebs here and there. We would definitely be back to stay in this wonderful piece of paradise.

Simply, a little heaven on earth. Tranquil, safe, cosy, clean. Nature all around, stunning views, and lovely sheep ( I am Welsh). Perfect place to write my book. My wife and I came to stay for a couple of weeks... stayed for a couple of months. Was the absolute highlight of Africa for us. Would love to go back one day.

I love staying at Katie's cottages. They are nestled next to the forest and waking up to the sounds of the forest is very refreshing. The cottages are clean and tidy and all amenities are provided including wood for the fireplace for those cold winter nights. I have often returned to staying with her because it is so good. Give her a try!

We have stayed at Lemonwood often ,it ticks all the boxes .Waking up to birds call in the forest, have your coffee on the deck and take in the great views .Good beds ,fluffy towels, all you need for SC and everything is neat and clean .And for a cold winter's evening you have a lovely fire .Even our small Dachshund felt right at home with her new friends. We'll be back soon

We had a really enjoyable overnight stay in Dassie in late November at the end of a long drive from St Lucia. The cottage was really nice and offered everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Underfloor heating was a nice surprise as it was a very cool evening followed by a cold, damp morning. We were greeted by Johnno and the 2 dogs soon after settling in and were impressed by his obvious passion for the area and immediate environment. He encouraged us to go up to the main house to use WiFi and to stay as long as we wanted on the morning of departure. On his advice we drove to the Il Postino Pizzeria for dinner. We had the best pizza in the world plus beer and wine and qualified for a 25% discount by being senior citizens visiting on Wednesday or Thursday evenings! A superb meal at a very reasonable price! The gardens are a haven for birds and we were told to help ourselves to limes and avocados from the orchard. It would have been great to have been able to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings and would have loved to have stayed longer but were on a tight schedule though we will certainly return for a longer stay if we ever come back to the Midlands. We missed not meeting Katie who had responded immediately to all my emails in the planning stage of our trip. We thoroughly recommend Lemonwood Cottages

Thank you very much for your lovely review Philip and I am so sorry to have missed you both. However, Jonno loved meeting you and I am glad he was so helpful and enthusiastic, he is very passionate about Lemonwood and the surroundings. He has started a wonderful organic vegetable garden and free range, organic eggs which we are now selling to guests, so next time you come I will let you know what is available as they are delicious. I very much look forward to meeting you on your next visit, thank you again for taking the time to write such lovely things about Lemonwood and have a wonderful Christmas. Regards, Katie
