I had room 208, a small single room. The view was of the back garden. The bathroom was nice and there was good hot water and water pressure. The public areas are very nice and there are lovely seating areas throughout the hotel. Wi-fi was unstable and this may be due to the thick walls. Breakfast was mostly continental, no eggs...

We stayed 1 night while biking the Camino. We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the architecture of the building. Room was super clean and charming. Bed was comfortable. Wifi did not work in the room- only in the common areas. This was fine for us and nice to get away from wifi. We also ate dinner as it is a...

For the price (just under €100 for 3, breakfast included), it's really quite good. Our room was large, its decor is a little old-fashioned but it's more a reflection of the style (think traditional Spanish nobility) than anything else. The young lady at reception was very helpful, showing us everything and giving us towels for the pool. When we went...

The location is a bit outside of the central area, but we found it to be only a 15 minute walk. That walk can be a bit of a challenge because of the narrow sidewalk along a street with fast moving cars. Very attractive building on nice grounds. Room was adequate and clean, though our room had a small window...

Potentially a lovely hotel given its age and entrance but unimaginatively converted (certainly the part we stayed in). Walking distance from Padrón. Lacks character and you feel like you are in a conference hotel. Room was comfortable as was the bed. Decent size bathroom. Dinner was very good and well cooked. Waiter was generous with the wine too. Breakfast had...

This hotel is quite attractive in terms of architecture however the service and ambience leave a lot of room for improvement. The rooms are dark, the communal area smells of pipe smoke, the food is the worst we experienced in Galicia and the service is laughable (the Fawlty Towers reference is so scarily accurate I felt I'd walked into an...

This is a lovely hotel in an restored "summer home." The room was very clean and attractive. The bathtub was nice and a soak felt very good after a long walk on the Camino. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk out of town and there is not much nearby. The food at the hotel was good. The reading...

Another superb Spanish conversion. If you are on the camino you see this on the hill above the first footbridge, the wedding tent being obvious. It is simply gobsmacking inside. It can be a little noisy as it is in Spain and Spanish people like their tv loud but it is worth the price of earplugs. The receptionist /barkeeper is...

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is in a historical building with a beautiful chapel. Location is fine for those who want to visit Santiago de Compostellla and the coast. The management however is eager to organize weddings and other celebrations at the hotel. On June 20, they had organized a wedding and 2 other celebrations....

I enjoyed the stay at this delightful hotel with a historically significant ecclesiastical past. Position is perfect for those walking the Camino. Everything is clean and elegant. Parking is free. The staff are very friendly and professional. A bountiful Continental breakfast was included which was delicious. The comidor provides excellent service and great food.
