Always efficient, perfect rooms, and an very interesting eating hall, where locals gather in profusion and local food is served, as well as large tapas counter. -Diner- from about 8.30, mas o menos. Non pretencious, modern establishment. Breakfasts are served in a separate breakfast room, self service. Typically Spanish, anything from meats and cheese to pan con tomate and cake...

A heartly welcome, including a lot of useful information made us feel comfortable. A clean well kept room, a very good restaurant and a bar added to a nice experience. Palacios was a perfect base for our visits to lower Rioja - which included the Cidacos Valley and the Viñedas de Alfaro bodega in VIllanueva de Duero. If you want...

Thank you very much for your opinion, We notice you have made a deep knowledge in the Rioja. Alfaro and the surroundings are very interesting. You visited Aldeanueva de Ebro (it is the correct name), where there are options for making a tasting in the middle of the vines. In Alfaro you feel the wine culture, it is a good...

Near motorway, in interesting town. Excellent staff and accommodation. Pet friendly. Restaurant was too noisy for us but it was Saturday evening the food was good and there was an additional choice of a snack in the cafe.

We had no particular purpose in Alfaro as it was just a stop-over. We found the hotel on another website at a greatly discounted price. For what we paid it was fine. The receptionist was helpful and friendly and offered us secure parking for our motorbike. The double bed was quite small. There was no bathmat and the provision of...

The hotel was very easy to find, it is the first building you see as you hit the main road through Alfaro. The staff were very nice and very helpful. There was a restaurant and cafe attached to the hotel, (could have done with the menu in other languages though the waiter was very helpful) which was a good job...

A clean, modern hotel that you can't miss as soon as you arrive. Opposite the bullring, we found this hotel to be most welcoming and exceptional value for money. Make sure you take time to see the storks which are nesting all over town. I was also intrigued by the pavement of the street across the road from the hotel....
