OK we had this booked by our Hiking Adventure company. Long days hike and we were really beat and looking forward to a nice evening what we got was a slightly upgraded youth hostel. Walking up to the hotel it looked great BUT we were shuffled off to another building down the street then had to luge our suitcases up...

We stayed there in September. My husband took his cup of coffee outside to smoke at the designated spot and the owner came out and screamed at him in Spanish while people on the street watched this humiliating behaviour. The reception staff apologised on his behalf and said their boss was very stressed. Room with no view of sea was...

The air conditioning didn't work. The problem is that when we, and several other people, complained about it they just said that it had been switched to heating and there was nothing they could do. It was the unwillingness to change or even enter into a dialogue that was the problem. It was too hot to sleep.

The hotel was far better than the pictures. Why they show you bathrooms galore beats me because the rest of the hotel is far better with good service and in a great location. Cleaning was outstanding and the breakfasts as good as anything you most of us will ever see. Only think that was poor was the pillow / bolster...

I travelled to this hotel via a Shearings coach. It was little trains of Pyrenees. The room was good with efficient air conditioning, (needed due to hot weather), The bed was comfortable and bathroom facilities good, there was no shower curtain so care needed to be taken when showering. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, some hot food. Dinner...

The Porto Cristo is a delightful small hotel, a block back from the foreshore strewn with fishing nets. The building was previously apparently a wine merchant cum wine store hence the strong ceilings. The rooms are decent sized, the bathroom has a full sized spa bath and bidet. There is limited shopping but the supermarket has most general provisions and...

One of the most helpful hotel staff members I have met. the wifi was fast, large breakfast buffet, convenient location to the Dali sites and Costa Brava excursions. I...

We have just returned from a holiday staying at the hotel Porto Cristo with Shearings Holidays. The hotel is in a good location just off the sea front. Lovely white washed buildings no high rise hotels, traditional Spain. Our first room was stunning, good size, large bathroom with whirl pool bath, but sadly we had to change as wanted a...
