Fantastic location, Accommodating and friendly hosts. Great meals with produce grown on the property. Choice of Eco friendly and Standard accommodations. Relaxing atmosphere with plenty of spaces to relax. Ideally visit with own car.

Shanibe lodge was nestled in Cape Schanck, not too far from the Cape Schanck Lighthouse. The property itself was very homely and had wonderful views especially during sunrise and sunset (both observable from either the common balcony or private room balconies). We were there for the tail end of autumn and start of winter period, and there was a warm... More

Read the reviews here and decided to give Shanibe Lodge a try. The place was magnificent! The whole property was huge and very well maintained. The rooms were very spacious and most were ensuite. We had 4 kids between the 2 families and they had plenty of rooms to run around. Jenny and Mick were great hosts and the kids... More

11 of us were here as a base camp for a bucks weekend and it was simply wonderful. All bucks related shenanigans were off-site and the house was a great place to retreat to, to sleep off the hangover, cook up a storm and get ready for the next day. Huge, clean and warm Shanibe Lodge is exactly the sort... More

Our recent Auswalk in the Mornington Peninsula included two nights stay at Shanibe Lodge B&B. As we walked up the path after a long hard walking day, we were pleasantly surprised. We were met by Jenny and Mick who catered for our every need for the next two nights. The fabulous house is perfectly situated amongst well cared for gardens... More

We stayed here for 1 night during a weekend away in the peninsula. The property is beautiful, in a wonderful setting, and the hosts are fantastic - a real home from home. As soon as we arrived we were given a warm welcome and afternoon tea by Jenny. Our room was lovely - the bed was so so comfortable and... More

We recently stayed at Shanibe whilst on a 11 day golf trip to Mornington peninsular. We were a group of 10 men and Mick & Jenny could not have been more accommodating. The house was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of room and the layout was great. Each day we would leave for golf in the morning and when... More

I was one of a party of 24 people who attended a conference at Shanibe Lodge. The accommodation was excellent. Hospitality most welcoming and thoughtful. The food just delicious and as I am a vegan, I was most impressed with how they catered for my needs as well as the needs of everyone else. The location and gardens provided a... More

We were a group of 4 ladies on a road trip together, rested a night at Shanibe. Had a great time with host Jenny and Mick, they made us feel at home and fed us well. Just like how our grandparents did! The breakfast was delicious and sumptuous. Jenny's home made goodies is a must try!

Jenny and Mick are friendly and helpful hosts. The location is beautiful. Mick's cooking is plentiful and delicious. If you are a golf nut you will be centrally located to a lot of courses. The king size bed was very comfortable and made the night last forever woke refreshed. If you like to go on hikes there is a lot... More
