Stayed here as part of a ski package and it lived up to expectations. Lovely spacious room with balcony, but the highlight is the superb food. Staff are friendly and helpful. Comfortable spacious lounge area and great wellness suite too. Recommended. Couple of tips . Taxi to Ischgl is only Eur20 and saves mucking about with the ski bus in...

Quiet hotel in a good location if you want to ski in Ischgl but don't want the nightlife. The food was excellent and we were well looked after by our waiter Thomas. The room was a good size, well appointed and very clean.

We stayed here for a skiing trip in February 2017. The hotel was immaculately clean, staff helpful and food good. Our room was a good size with a modern en suite shower room and flat screen tv. The Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were also great. Unfortunately I injured my leg skiing during the trip but Herr Lorenz and the...

Although this is the first time I stayed in this area, I have been holidaying in the Tyrol for almost 40 years and the Alpenhotel is probably the best of many great Hotel experiences I have had in this brilliant region. From the moment we arrived to the departure, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms where comfortable,...

This was our second trip to this hotel. Like the first the food and hospitality was top draw. We were well taken care of by Thomas at meal times. This is a perfect hotel if you want to ski in Ischgl but want to avoid the evening madness. Slightly surprised that the steep driveway still doesn't have a fence or...

You would find this hotel hard to beat. The food is amazing, the location is great if you do not mind the short steep hill to walk up, which we didn't mind. This is our second year at this hotel and can honestly say we would go again and again. The hotel is clean and very well run. The views...

Rooms are exceptionally comfortable, the staff are professional, friendly and very hard working. Drinks are reasonably priced and hotel location in proximity to the ski bus and shops is excellent. Had one of the best ski holidays of my life and as good as the slopes were, the time away from the piste and the town in the hotel went...

Everything about Alpenhotel is perfect for a skiing holiday. The location is excellent - a quick shuttle ride to Galtur (5 minutes) and Ishgl (20 minutes). The views are immaculate and the rooms are large and very comfortable. The service is excellent: a tight nit staff makes the hotel run incredibly smoothly. The front desk, bar, and restaurant were all...

Peter runs a well-oiled operation. Everything is spotless. Service by the attentive staff is friendly and makes for a pleasant meal very night. My thanks also to Andreas for making my stay enjoyable. Be prepared for the steep driveway, but it was always ice/snow free during my stay. Location is very good for catching the valley bus to the resorts.

Booked this for my husband and sons annual ski trip as normal place was fully booked - so pleased it was. They loved the location as it was really relaxed and quiet, they had some of the best food they have EVER eaten (and we have been to a few Michelin restaurants around the world). The staff were incredibly hospitable...

“Higher floors are probably quieter. One of our rooms was next to the lift, but there was no noise from the lift, so don't worry if your room is next to the lift/stairs.”

“We stayed in Room 308 which was spacious and had a good sized-balcony with views across the town to the mountains. There wasn't a bath but there was always plenty of hot water for a shower and the water pressure was excellent.”
