Nice, cosy and really original room (9). The room is calm, clean and the service is satisfying. Remarquable environnement (castels, muséums, landscape, cities, restaurants) Breakfast very poor and not adapted for this kind of hotel and restaurant.

My family spent 4 days at Les Hautes Roches and enjoy every minute of it. The site is beautiful , the architecture is unique, the view on the Loire is spectacular. In the morning the atmosphere is pastoral. The service is very professional. We would warmly recommend Les Hautes Roches.

We reserved for one night, two of the Troglodyte rooms built into or carved out of the cliff rocks. They were both huge, and gorgeously appointed, with views of the Loire. The hotel itself is very pretty, clinging to the cliffside as it is. Be aware it is located on a very busy road, so driving in and out can...

This hotel is in a stunning position with views over the Loire and unusual rooms carved into the cliff. The reception we received was excellent and I would highly recommend this hotel. The only down side was the lack of any restaurant on a Sunday and a Monday

This hotel is lovely! My fiance and I stayed at this hotel for a wedding at Chateau D'Artigny (which we were originally staying but there were no space). A few of us ended up at Les Hautes Roches which I'm very happy about. Half of the hotel is built off of a cave limestone mountain. The room we stayed in...

This is a review of the restaurant and not the hotel. I am critical in my review, because I expected better and believe that they must be capable of better. We were a group of 6 who all had the 3 course dinner menu, starting with lobster and followed by a pave of fish. We found those two dishes interesting...

Attentive staff, sublime food, superb location for romantic getaway. We enjoyed our gin and tonic over looking the beautiful Loire river on the terrace. The Somellier was most helpful when we dilliberated over our wine choice for dinner, an excellent meal prepared by accomplished chefs. Our room was enormous, clean and extremely comfortable. Looking forward to another visit someday!

We stayed in the peak season in August and were initially disappointed that we could no get a room in the main hotel building and accordingly were allocated to a room in a cave dug into the limestone cliff. The day we arrived was very hot, over 30 degrees C, and we had driven from our ferry in Caen. A...

The concept of this hotel is really neat It is actually built into a mountain that said I was disappointed at the quality of bed sheets and towels not what I expected in a Relais & Chateaux hotel The restaurant was closed on sunday and monday so we only had breakfast here
