I cannot rate this Hotel highly enough . Just home from a long weekend spent ith 80 + friends/car enthusiasts from the Standard Motor Club. From the moment we stepped inside the door we were greeted by friendly efficient staff and beautiful fresh flowers. The whole hotel is extremely well kept and the beroom was very comfortable and had everything we needed including tea/coffee/biscuits/water hairdryer ,iron and ironing board and air conditioning . There was a room on the ground floor where guests can enjoy free tea/coffee/hot chocolate all day . The staff were very friendly from the Management through to reception to housekepping. .The food was top class. We enjoyed a well organised buffet on Friday night and a Gala Dinner on Saturday night . Special mention for Norbert who was overseeing the evening. He ran that restaurant effortlessly .His lovely team knew exactly what they were doing. Appreciated the thought that went into presentation of food and table layout. Little touches like tea spoons in cups and saucers all facing the same way and the dessers placed on the table all in the same direction. Perfect. Breakfast was also excellent with something for everyone. All being carefully watched over by an attentive team . Special mention for Cathy who was friendly and efficient. Some of our group stayed over on Sunday night and enjoyed the bar snacks .I had a burger which is the best I have tasted in a long while .Served on a plate not a board !! Proper bap not a brioche bun ( just my preference) .Well that's my experience of this first class Hotel. Would definitely recommend Big thank you

We've stayed in this hotel many times and would again. The breakfasts are delicious and varied enough to keep a normal eater and vegan satisfied, We have also eaten at the bar too and it was good value. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. Lots of parking and there are some great walking routes near by too.

Stayed here for 3 nights on business, mainly due to the low rate and that it had a pool. Well, the pool was closed until further notice, no advance warning. The room was like a lot of student accommodation, clean, basic, sufficient. Food was average, usual burger/chips, pizza, sandwiches, and a buffet restaurant which was not great. Staff friendly, especially the guy in the bar. It is in the middle of nowhere so need to drive if you want better food.

This hotel is not up to scratch, by any means. Rooms are small, poorly lit, and incredibly stuffy; the in-room air conditioning is ineffective. Decor is dated, and wardrobe space lacking. The workspace within the room is cramped, with an uncomfortable chair provided. The double bed was too firm, and only had one pillow. The bathroom is miniscule, with a rather puny shower, and dirty shower curtain. Only one towel was provided, which was small, and did not dry at all well on the provided towel rail. Nice view of the countryside out of the window, about all that's going for the room to be honest.

Food within the hotel was mixed; the breakfast offering was poor, and served stone cold, despite me being the first arrival in the hotel to the restaurant at 7am when service began. Bar snacks were better, burger pleasant, though menu limited. Drinks at the bar were very reasonably priced, the best part of the stay, in fact.

I shall not be staying here again, and will instead book a room in central Milton Keynes. The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment, and does not at all represent value for money at the present time.

Have stayed here a lot over the last years and something seems to have gone very wrong with the rooms and restaurant. Really cold bedroom with ineffective and very noisy wall fan unit heater. Bathroom towel rail turned off thus had damp towels for 5 nights as towels and sheets not changed throughout. No replacement of tea and coffee in rooms. I asked for more bedding and got a heater which was delivered but did not work. Restaurant buffet closed so had an ok but very over priced a la carte dinner. Quite embarrassing as I was hosting a business dinner, my colleague also noted how cold his room was too. We are both very easygoing and not complainers at all.

Staff as friendly, cheerful and helpful as ever but they are clearly being very let down by the facilities they are being asked to manage just now.

Rooms are comfortable, well appointed and reasonable price. If that’s all you want great.
Restaurant charge £19.50 for buffet style meal so had beef stroganoff. For such a basic meal very expensive.
No where local to go, so you are stuck or have to drive for food.
Then watching film or channels provided and signal cut out, never to come back.
I know place is geared toward Cranfield University, but outside of hotel room experience was pretty poor.

Located on the Cranfield University campus, this is an excellent, well planned, cleaned facility. I was impressed by the attention to detail. Pleasant room, with everything you could want: TV, Tea & Coffee facilities; Good WiFi, Comfortable bed, Hot & powerful shower, Luggage rack, Hairdryer, Iron & ironing boad, even a box of tissues.

A university with a hotel. Very convenient. The rooms are basic. Not spartan but more like an upscale dorm room. Very clean and very quiet . Beds comfy , shower good. Staff very friendly. If you have business or an event on campus this is definitely the place to stay.

I am a regular in the area for business, but I usually stay in MK or Woburn. But now will add the CMDC to my regular list. Good honest room for an overnighter, plenty of safe car parking. Great breakfast!

Stayed here as part of a course which worked well for convenience. The room was ok, but the dreadful room lighting was a real pain. Bed was ultra soft, which made it quite physically difficult to sleep in when there are 2 of you. Food was fine with a good selection at breakfast.
Please improve the lighting!!
