I spent two days at Rudstone Walk and the hotel location was very convenient. The room was large with good views and a huge bed. I ate in the Bistro on both nights and the food was varied and very good. I enjoyed my stay and would definetely use the hotel again.

Nice intimate setting in this lovely old farmhouse, which has been developed into a 'venue' over the years. Nice crowd of 50-60, all of whom had made the effort to be smart. Good entertainment, and overall enjoyable. However, definitely not memorable for the food, which, pre-ordered, was edible rather than historic, and the service which was clunky and pretty amateur....

As you can see from the photos the building is lovely and the room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Unfortunately the kitchen was in a poor state of repair. I had to defrost the fridge and clean the cooker before I could use it. There were signs on the dishwasher and cooker as the dishwasher was out of...

We are on a refurbishment plan and the room you stayed in (Woodland 1) is undergoing refurbishment literally as I type as well as 2 other rooms. Top notch accommodation to suit all. As I am a walker and prone to muddiness I was made to feel very welcome and my needs were well understood. Beautifully appointed bedroom and communal areas. Nice meal and chats with friendly owner and staff. While not a criticism as such, it is located a fair distance down a B-road off the...

Thank you for your really kind words it was lovely to have you to stay with us. With regards to the "B" road you are quite right we are more than happy to pick up people from the path as it is not a nice end to the day. For future walkers information we are more than happy to pick...

We stayed in Mallard flat. Loads of room, with three bedrooms and kitchen. Good views and the falconry place is great. Lots of owls and other birds to have a look at. Breakfast was very good with freshly squeezed orange juice and strong coffee.

Was initially booked into a 1 bedroom studio for 4 nights. Staff really lovely but studio SO DIRTY, I complained & was moved to the Mallard studio. Whilst a huge improvement, it still needed a good clean (see photos). I checked out after 1 night. V.disappointed. Absolutely no excuse.

I am always a bit wary in staying in non-commercial hotels for business but was pleasantly surprised by my stay a Rudstone Walk. The accommodation was good value with a very comfortable bed and a pleasant nights sleep. The staff were very friendly and enjoyed the home cooked meal. There seemed to be a good mix of business and pleasure...

Stayed here whilst walking the Yorkshire Wolds Way, for the first leg of our walk. The owner picked us up from an arranged location otherwise we would have had to detour four miles. This kind gesture was greatly appreciated. Once there, we found the room a high standard, although the original price of £89 B&B had risen to £105 (we...

I am so sorry to read your review but am slightly confused as we do not charge £50 for dinner, our steak pie and vietnamese lamb are both just £12.50 and are both very popular items so I am disappointed they were not to your liking. We do not have a lamb hotpot on the menu. I would respond personally...
