We are four cousins of a certain age and stayed here for three nights which included two nights of an excellent murder mystery by 'Its Murder'. The hotel is charming and original, full Victorian splendour with modern facilities. Our rooms were spacious and good, the swimming and leisure facilities really first class and the beautiful golf course provided lovely walking.... More

I visited Cave Castle with a group of Headteachers on a residential network meeting. The room, leisure facilities and food were all excellent. Staff were warm and welcoming, adding humour to the occasion. I will certainly be staying again.

Quick summary... Nothing was like advertised our room was tired, tatty sheets that didn't fit the bed. Maze of corridors and rooms, lots of stairs. Extra's ordered that didn't arrive as planned. Birthday suprise on wrong day................ Best part was the golf course and I don't play golf!

Obviously we like it to return again. It is two years since our last visit but we found the hotel and golf as good as ever. The golf course was in great condition for early November. The staff are well trained and friendly. The food is good and the pool is excellent.

We stayed one night and were very pleased with our stay. We thought the restaurant was very pricy for dinner, but were only there one night and didn't want to go out and find something else. We didn't realize until later that the hotel also has a separate eating place back by the health club and it was very reasonably... More

My wife and I vsiited for a weekend break. On driving into the beautiful grounds to see this imposing building we were impressed with the 'old style castle entrance hall' (complemented by modern clean bedrooms) We were made to feel welcome by all the staff we met - from the receptionist to the restaurant and facilities. everyone was smartly dressed,... We booked a 3 night stay from Saturday to Tuesday, the price was £80 per night booked direct with hotel. Stated to reception that I was fully disabled and would require a disabled room in the castle. Upon arriving there was a wedding in progress and the car park was full, the disabled space had a taxi in it !,... More

Stayed here last night for my anniversary! The stay was excellent with a great room with a balcony view, all for a very reasonable price. The staff Melissa at reception and Anthony at the restaurant were lovely and friendly as well.

This is a beautiful old castle building in great grounds with a spa, golf course etc. Inside is beautiful; the ground floor is largely wood panelled, with some lovely old furniture. The rooms are very nice with all necessary facilities, and certainly the price we paid was very reasonable. As ever there is a bit of a downside. We went... More

What a lovely surprise, beautiful surroundings, lovely room, huge comfy bed, beautiful and spotlessly clean.did not used spa facilities. Coffee shop was welcoming and friendly. Staff were great in every area of the hotel. My only down was the bathroom which could have done with an upgrade but however was spotlessly clean as was everywhere in the hotel and grounds.
