We stayed in December on a school trip to Paris. The rooms were a great size and most of the rooms I seen were refurbished. In the Morning we would have breakfast here and there was a vast amount of options and they were all great! From cereal to toast, they had lots. Loads of drinks options. The room had a small bathroom consisting of a shower, sink and toilet which was a good size! The beds were comfy and there was plenty of storage for clothes etc. The location is good as it is only around 30 mins to an hour depending on traffic. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay!

absolutely revolting…

Unless you want to be sleeping on a rock and breathing in mould i wouldn’t recommend this. First of all you don’t even sleep in the chateau, you sleep in the decrepit council estate behind it. The staff were lovely and helpful and the food was alright but basic for the price you pay. I found multiple unknown brown substances on the mattresses and pubes all over the beds and bathroom walls which was disgusting! the cleaning job here is just effortless, they probably made the bed and left it at that because our bin was full from the previous group who had stayed before us, and we found multiple chewed gum stuck on the beds. We woke up to random school kids throwing rocks into our bedroom which is despicable and needed to be sorted out ASAP. There is absolutely no WiFi for anyone including teachers. The bathroom stunk so bad i had to plug my nose everytime i walked into it and the charging plugs were down the side of the bed making it impossible to charge your phone without bending the wires. The chateau did look very nice however like i said, you don’t sleep there. Breakfast was the same every morning which i found disappointing for the price, all the meat was dry and they even forced people to eat food they didn’t like which i found incredibly rude and utterly disrespectful. Overall however, i wouldn’t say this was the worst place i’ve ever stayed however there was a lot of events that ruined a lot for me. I would stay here again but only if i couldn’t find another place to stay because of the dirtiness.

Stayed for 3 night family Disney explorer
Rooms are not suitable for families, dormitories with little by way of furniture
Every single member of staff we came across were wonderful, so warm and friendly.
Food was cold generally, salad bar not fresh, bread stale. Lunch was one option.
I expected a range of activities on offer for us to try but it was very limited. Over the 3 days we played a board game with a member of staff, did axe throwing and frisbee. I expected more as an activity holiday.
The swimming pool was fabulous, with lifeguard available.
No wifi or phone signal anywhere on site which made things a bit difficult when planning onward travel.
We had a wonderful day at Disney (wear supportive shoes, we were exhausted by the end of the fireworks!)
Paying £1300 for 3 nights and one day at Disney is ridiculous for this place. The Disney tickets are £300 so we paid £1000 for 3 days for 4, to eat cold food with little choice, stay in a dorm and play a board game and frisbee!
Thank goodness for such lovely staff that encouraged us to get out of it what we could

Came here in July of this year on a school trip. I struggle to think where to start. Bedrooms were uninhabitable at best. Light fittings that didn't work with a poor maintenance team who weren't prompt to fix the issue, there was hair on the bedding. There was poor ventilation throughout the rooms which caused it to be extremely difficult to have a comfortable night stay with the heat occurring (given we were in France, one could assume there would be A/C). The bathrooms were moody, I myself had to use personal cleaning products to bring my room and others up to a suitable standard at which I felt was appropriate to sleep in. Next is the food. Breakfast was okay, there was a variety of cereal and pastries, fruit was a bit soft but there was enough to please everyone. Lunch was shocking with poor produce leaving most with a dry, stale baguette. Dinner was far from better. The activities were again OKAY though some staff disregarded the age of the students part-taking and were quite lazy and chose not to join in themselves. This left students to not join in as they weren't engaged with enough enthusiasm. The best part of the whole trip was sightseeing and shopping around Paris and the trips venturing out of the Chateau grounds. The land itself is wonderful but the accommodation itself and the amenities definitely need dragging unto standard if they wish to keep up with competitors which others may choose to go to after reading these reviews.

Going to the chateau de grande romaine made me feel sick with the majority of the food but not always. The breakfast on the other hand was incredible with it pastries and its layout of their cereal and drinks and also the fruit. The lunch was hand made by us and was a bit upsetting as the options were unappealing to me. The blob of chunkybutter didn't taste right and so I stopped using it and instead had a plain baguette. The dinner was revolting. It made me feel sick one day and the next, it tasted like cardboard. That wasn't the worst of it though. On top of the 10hr journey to get here, our room wasn't clean. Chewing gum on the beds, stains on the sheets the floor was messy and the tap was pasted with nacteria. The window almost fell off the hinges and the shower wouldn't go warm, instead it was freezing all the time.

I went here on a school trip recently and all i can say is i was completely let down. We were all scammed of our money since we initially payed £700 which wasn’t only the hotel, but many other expenses of the trip too.

As soon as we walked in we noticed mould on our mirrors, pubes in our bathroom and the floor was covered in a mysterious brown, sticky substance which we were forced to clean up ourselves after a 5+ hour journey.

The food was dodgy tasting, the pasta being okay but the sauce had a strange consistency. Every single plate, fork, spoon, knife and tray I saw was either stained or dirty which put me and many others off their meals. For lunch we were provided with a packet of crisps and a baguette which were pretty good. For breakfast, there was a range of options which I found more appetising than the other 2 meals.

The mattresses were rock hard and with the standard of the vile room I’m still surprised the charging stations worked. Not to mention the lack of WiFi. For me, my school had travelled from a neighbouring country meaning we had limited 4G. This was awful as many of us had to contact parents often as well as message other family too. I’m certain if my school was told there would be no WiFi less than half the students would have come.

Overall, I found the place worse than my last school trip to Germany. The initial shock of the standard was worse than my first day in Munich in which we walked around a concentration camp for an hour and a half. My first day at this French place managed to be worse than my German trip. It was more horrific than walking around a concentration camp.

Honestly the standard needs to be looked into because this place isn’t safe for individuals, let alone children. The hygiene needs working on and so does the food. Awful.

well well well, where do i even begin? lets start with the pubes all over my bathroom. absolutely disgusting. there is no ventilation in the bathroom or bedroom so there is mould all over the walls. and lets not forget the holes in my bathroom door and bedsheet (bit odd). the radiator didn’t work and then all of a sudden at night it went full blast and i was absolutely shocked and sweating. the rooms are incredibly dirty, dirty tissues on the floor and a dead bug on the floor. and not to forget how the photo is nothing like the rooms. the chateau is only a pub and canteen you dont stay in there!! the rooms are in tiny little flat council estate looking things. the staff are alright but they need new cleaners and need to stop being lazy. also wifi is terrible, considering you have to pay for it you would want it to work. it kind of works in one building. wouldve been better off staying in my car honestly.

I stayed here for a school trip and couldn't believe the standards. Well let's start off firstly I was scammed as the pictures on Google showed a lovely chateau with an outdoor pool and advertised lots of activities which where lies and we had no activities instead we were left to do anything, which meant walk around. The only enjoyable activity was the picture game.
Secondly after walking into the room there was an awful smell of a babies nappy which made me almost vomit and an stench of farts. I then was not so pleasantly surprised by dust on the floor and a blood stain on my blanket and the blankets were like cardboard pieces. Aswell as this, the sheets were like sandpaper. Another problem experienced with my room was the brown colour around the shower and the bathroom smell due to no ventilation, in fact the whole room smelt even if we left the window open all day. Also our shower sprayed directly into the toilet so every time someone showered it was soaking wet. The water from the tap and toilet smelt of sewage and I was scared to wash. I also found a lovely but of mould on my sink handle and a nice long hair.
I also experienced problems with the food as the food was not appealing (didn't mind the chips) firstly each dish, from a plate to a fork was dirty or stained, cups with crumbs and food on them and tea stains all over, then the food options were limited and not what they said online. gave only three options and it did not taste very nice. then once eating my food I found a bug???? or a possible piece of mould in my hot chocolate. Then after this the next day I found a hair in my Coco pops which is not nice to wake up to at 8 o clock in the morning.
I found it very hard to look for a dish that was even semi clean or without crumbs or dirt. The lasagne was like rubber.
I became aware that people in other rooms experienced more problems as they found a colony of ants in their bathroom, thank you but we didn't book for extra guests. obviously not cleaned.

Absolutely delighted to be back for my fourth visit to the Chateau, this time after a break of seven years. I was party leader with a group of 47 12 and 13 year old children, together with my top team of colleagues and I cannot speak highly enough of this centre. There is just loads for kids to do and in the Summer there is a lovely outdoor pool to enjoy. The buildings are set in extensive grounds with magnificent trees and wooded areas. In the past we have had a chance to do some of the more elaborate activities, such as archery, orienteering and the climbing wall, but this time we could not as our itinerary was already so packed. I had liaised with Tina at PGL Head Office and we decided on the evening plans for the group. Thierry was our city guide when we hit Paris for the day. We had French coaches, as on this trip we opted to fly from Manchester to make our journey less tiring. In the evenings Connor looked after us and the children engaged in a variety of fun things like the silent disco and the balloon splash. Both gents were fabulous and couldn't have done more for us. Management is friendly, visible and hands-on. We met Bobby several times and he was keen to ensure everything was in order for us. The accommodation is functional and comfortable, with students in four bedded rooms. The food is fabulous with great quality and quantity. Breakfast has cereal, fruit and French pastries. Lunch is a picnic sandwich prepared by the students themselves on delicious French bread, along with crisps, a biscuit and fruit. At dinner there are vegetarian and halal main options. There is salad, dessert and often soup for adults. The staff are friendly and efficient and the place runs like clockwork. We had a wonderful stay and I am already in the process of booking our next visit. A great spot!

We arrived in our room and there was a poo stain on carpet. The mattresses are like bricks and someone slept on the floor cause it was more comfy. The food is rank. We had chicken and rice and the chicken was as dry as a desert. We have to make our own lunch which is ok but the butter is as hard as a brick. They give us some crisps a sandwich and some biscuits for lunch. The activities are mid but the only good thing is the full size football pitch and the volleyball court. I would never come back again and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Hello Marina. The passes included in this trip are standard passes and therefore the guests would need to queue as normal, however most rides will display the approximate wait time for that ride. There are some rides that offer a fast pass ticket, whereby you scan your standard ticket and a fast track ticket is issued for a set time, where you can join the ride via a fast track queue, further details can be seen on the Disneyland Paris website.
