Millie's warmth was the icing on the cake for what was a wonderful 2 day stay. Lovely views of the dales and a hostess who couldn't do enough for us, all with a big smile slapped across her face.... fantastic :) 6/5

We have just returned from a long weekend at Hazels Roost, and what a fantastic weekend we had. On arrival on Friday we were welcomed by Millie, Hazels daughter in laŵ who now manages the B&B. Millie was amazing throughout our stay, attentive, chatty and a perfect host. We stayed in the twin room, and the room was spotless in... More

What a fantastic B and B. The whole place is immaculate. Lots of extra effort has been made by Millie and her family with their sewing skills in the form of home made soft furnishings. The room and ensuite were top class as was Millie's attention to to our well being. The full English breakfast will keep you going all... More

Lovely place for an overnight visit. Extremely welcoming host, yummy breakfast and clean rooms. The style of the rooms matches the village... quintessential decoration and floral styles. Very sweet. The bathrooms are fabulous. Very clean and modern. Would recommend to a friend.

From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome, Millie is so friendly and accommodating. The twin room was clean and comfortable, lovely private shower & w/c, so much thought had gone into making our stay perfect. The breakfast was cooked to perfection, nothing too much trouble for Millie. We will be back soon, thanks for everything, Liz & Rich,... More

We have just returned from Bainbridge, we attended a wedding at a nearby hotel. Hazels Roost is a wonderful bed and breakfast ran by the equally wonderful Millie. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable, the shower powerful (which we love) and the breakfast was fantastic. Locally sourced produce and cooked to perfection. You can't go wrong with a... Arrived at Hazel Roost quite late in the day, greeted by the lovely landlady. Room was very clean, nice and comfortable, she made us feel very welcome, parking was all ok after some manoeuvres in a Ford Ranger, but all was good in the end, breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Our first impressions of Hazels Roost were a pretty B&B, in a quiet corner of the picturesque village of Bainbridge. We were met with a warm smile from Millie and taken straight to our double room, which was spotless and cosy with a generous Welcome Tray. We asked Millie about eating at the local pub, and she kindly rang and... More

Our room was a cosy double with en-suite. THe bathroom was nicely decorated with a lovely shower, toiletries and large towels and quite warm as it was probably the warmest days we have had this year! Plenty of choice of teas, coffee and even squash sachets plus a bottle of water. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice from fresh... More

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay with us Carole, pleased to see your 5 star rating. Regarding the external stairs to the twin room, these are traditional "stone" steps which have been in place from when the premises was a blacksmiths shop going back hundreds of years. They are perfectly safe with a sturdy & very secure steel... More
