We arrived to a warm welcome from Neil the owner, who showed us to our room and offered tea/coffee and freshly baked cakes. Our room was was like a small apartment and full of character with parts of the old mill still visible. The added touches to the room really made it- log burner, large sofa, dining table and the bed was amazing the large copper bath was just what was needed after a day out walking. Breakfast was one of the best I have had plenty of choice, quality bacon and sausage and more if you wanted. I would recommend a visit here you wouldn’t be disappointed

Extremely comfortable room, delicious breakfasts and very friendly and helpful hosts. A wonderful few days break. We loved the style of the place and it is in a very convenient location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at this converted mill which is ideally located for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Welcoming tea and cake in the garden when we arrived was a lovely touch. There is free parking and wifi. Delicious breakfast included homemade marmalade. Although the village pub, the Rose and Crown, is across the road, we had the worst meal of our holiday there (poor quality and waited an hour for it in a dismal dining room). If you can get parked, the King's Arms in Askrigg was excellent.

Spent 4 nights at Low Mill, everything was perfect. On arrival we we were greeted by Neil the owner who provided refreshments and home made cake. The house and gardens are lovely, both full or quirky ornaments and sculptures. Our bedroom - Kiln was lovely, very clean and well equipped, great shower (no bath), plenty of toiletries replenished as required, refreshment tray with fresh milk provided and homemade cakes. The breakfasts were great, there is a small honesty bar. There is nothing the owners could add, remove, or change to make the experience any better, they have got it perfect already.

From first stepping foot in the door, you knew this was a special place. Everything is immaculate, with plentiful of querky, unique features. Our room was stunning, with a separate living room area and stunning views from all windows. The room was, like everywhere, immaculate and spotlessly clean. Complimentary homemade cake and chocolates in the room. Temple spa products in the bathroom, which were replenished the following day. Breakfast was exceptional. The owners/ hosts make there own bread. Granola, fruit jam and marmalade. Very nice indeed. I bought some of the marmalade for myself and family The hosts were friendly and helpful. They also providing customers with a downloadable app, prior to stay, with everything from directions to Low Mill, checking in,out, local area guide, places to eat etc. It made you feel that you were been thought of prior to the stay and time had been taken to ensure you are looked. after. I would highly recommend a visit. I will certainly be back.
