Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Room was amazing, bed and bedding so comfortable. The copper bath a real treat. Bainbridge and area beautiful. I tried variety of breakfasts all of which were superb. Nick a perfect host, friendly but not obtrusive. Would recommend as a real treat as would the dog.

This is one of the nicest B&Bs I've ever visited. It's beautiful, eccentric, and very cozy. We visited in August and experienced the best of the British summertime, so we were able to get warm and relax on a sofa after a walk in the pouring rain. The room we had overlooked the River Bain, and we were able to watch birds and wildlife from the comfort of our room (as well as during breakfast). The decor is fantastic and it was great to have an area to sit and read. I really love breakfast, and I was not disappointed. Everything was freshly cooked and delicious (I was particularly excited to have proper blueberry pancakes). Overall, it's a fantastic place and we really loved it.

Delightfully quirky and spacious room (we booked The Storeroom) and we really appreciated the bathroom having both bath and shower. Delicious and plentiful breakfast (inc home-made marmalade) and friendly, helpful owners. Would definitely stay again!

Highly recommended. Wonderful room right by the river and you can hear the water from the window. Our host couldn’t do enough to make our stay the best. Breakfast was amazing. Everything homemade including bread, croissants, marmalade, blueberry pancakes and granola. Great walks from the door. Would definitely go again. Thank you

Great communication before our stay, Jane had a bouquet of flowers ready for our arrival for my wife's birthday. Low Mill's on line link for things to do, where to visit, check in _& out was most informative. We stayed in the Kiln room, the room was simply outstanding, the view from the bedroom window WOW. Breakfasts we're outstanding, Neil's Marmalade was delicious as was everything served. The garden was well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return. Neil even recommended an eatery for our journey home which was most enjoyable and a great bit of advice.

Perfect for our little staycation! What a beautiful little gem in the middle of the Yorkshire dales. Neil welcomed us upon our arrival and made sure our puppies were well fussed over, we were then shown to our room - the Kiln (which was beautiful) and had a lovely view over looking the river. Everything was thought about, the breakfasts were stunning - especially the gluten free blueberry pancakes!!! Thank you Jane :D Could not recommend enough

My husband arranged our stay as a surprise for our wedding anniversary. His choice was perfect! Neil greeted us on arrival and showed us our room. The Workshop… What an amazing quirky room! Copper bath, fluffy wool clouds, wood burner and welcome chocolates. We had 2 nights here and were made to feel very welcome. Comfortable bed, sofa to relax on, lovely en suite with dressing gowns and toiletries. Breakfast was excellent with home made bread and award winning marmalade. I highly recommend staying here, lovely location for walks. Easy to spend the day at the guest house taking in all the amazing furnishing. Thank you to Neil and Jane for looking after us.. Just sad we forgot the marmalade! We will have to head back now for sure..

My partner and I stayed here for the weekend and it was exactly what we’d hoped it would be and more. The place felt really special whilst also being cosy and homely and Neil was a very welcoming host who offered us walking advice. It was a great location for getting around the Dales for walks and there were plenty of nearby places to eat (short drive). Well worth the cost, the attention to detail was spot on and the breakfasts were delicious. We hope to return and will definitely be recommending Low Mill Guest House to friends and family.

We had a brilliant stay at Low Mill Guest House. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and full of wonderful little quirks. The hosts made us feel very welcome and had excellent knowledge of the area and when we went walking we were provided with a map guide to help us. There were several breakfast options with food beautifully cooked using local or homemade produce. The location is central a number of different attractions, walks and places to eat with an easy to use app to help. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
