A family run wonderful restaurant . The menu was short but perfectly constructed from local produce. The host was charming and engaging with a really positive attitude to like. Everyone one the loved the food and the atmosphere. I would highly recommend.

between masha, luca and the adorable ilaria, i think they've got all bases covered here. this is very much a place where what you put in, you get out two fold. a little "buongiorno" goes a very long way here. the breakfasts are very un-italian in that they are delicious and varied - not a plastic wrapped cracker in sight....

Masha in the kitchen still keeps a very high standard if you like country cooking with a twist. It's a small place so you get personal attendance / service. Was a bit disappointed by the rabbit I had for secondi but it doesn't change my overall assessment of this wonderful place. Booking is required (they answer via email).

I was lucky enough to visit this place in early July and cannot recommend it enough. From the moment you walk in you feel relaxed, at home, welcomed. Beautiful ambience and service from genuine, passionate, warm people is complemented by sensational, imaginative, lovingly prepared organic food. The result is something truly wonderful, rustic and authentic. Visit La Chiusa and be...

I have eaten at La Chuisa more than 10 times. We eat here every time we are in Umbria. I would highly highly recommend this lovely small restaurant. Masha, the owner, creates fantastic food (and it is mostly grown on site, completely organic). Don't miss it.

We had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant last sunday. Too often ineven the best restaurants around the world, the front of house staff have only a basic understanding of food and wine and their knowledge of how the food is cooked you could put on a place card. Our meal was fantastic but the service we enjoyed was as...
