Stayed for one night with my husband, son and parents-in-law and we all felt it was exceptional value for money. We had dinner on our day of arrival which was lovely; home-cooked food. We all also had a cooked breakfast which was delicious; high quality ingredients and served promptly by a lovely, smiley waitress. Our rooms were clean and comfortable...

Looking for somewhere to stay on our way down from Scotland we came across this little gem of a place outside Carlisle which turned out to be warm and inviting place to stay. From the Host to the rooms and great food there was nothing I could fault with this establishment. Even though we were on the main road and...

I was in Carlisle to attend a seminar today and stayed last night at the Park Broom Lodge principally because it was close to the venue for the seminar BUT also because the reviews on trip advisor were very positive and persuasive. I am pleased to say that I was not disappointed. I only made the reservation on Saturday and...

If you want a real English countryside experience then go and stay with the ladies at this great B&B. Arrive on a very foggy and cold night to a welcoming and warm reception. Ladies opened the bar for us so we could have a pint before bed. We were greeted in the morning by more friendly staff. Breakfast was fabulous....

Thank you very much. We are all glad your stay was such a success. Regarding the WiFi. We are at the mercy of BT open reach who promise much and deliver little!!! We live in hope that one day , sometime in the future we might have even a half decent Broadband service.

I was up in Carlisle and had no idea where to stay. I found this place through bookings.com and the rates were discounted as off season. I made enquiries straight to the owner and they were flexible and cooperative before i had even got there. It gave me the assurance to book a second night but direct with them and...

Good rooms, restaurant and bar after a long walk on Hadrian's Wall Path. I miscalculated the distance and had to call for a ride. They picked me up quickly and delivered me to the same spot the next morning, so I didn't miss an inch of the Path! Very friendly place and good stop before Carlisle.
