Positive : A good mix of Location and lower costs, Room - Comfortable, good size beds (Twin) a desk with power and a chair. Breakfast is good for the price, the Buffet at night is also good for the money (11 euros). Waiters / waitresses polite and helpful as were the maids. Negative : Reception staff were surely and every question was met with displeasure, TV - not one English channel, Internet flakey.
The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfy. Not 4*, but adequate. Breakfast and lunch varied and tasty. The location is so good, around the corner the metro and bus station, stores are nearly. The carpets on the corridors are seedy and blurry, and the ceiling is a little bit blobby, but hey, this is not the end of the world! :) Probably will return.
Stayed for 4 nights at Olympia Hotel from 22 Oct - 26 Oct. The check in process was fuss free and the room was okay and clean. The corridor was quiet. The floor is wooden floor, so it may be a little cold when you get up in the morning. The staff are relatively friendly (except for a senior lady at the reception who was just stone face when i asked for some directions). The hotel is located very near MetroValencia (Lines 3 & 9). Its literally about 2mins walk and the station is Palmaret. The hotel is located at a very historic neighbourhood so I took nice pictures walking around. There are 2 supermarkets within walking distance so it is very convenient. What irritates me about the hotel are (a) No tissue paper other than the toilet paper & (b) No hot water which is very important to me. So be warned: Either you bring along a portable kettle or u keep going to the cafe downstairs to ask for hot water. i gave up and bought one. It is quite frustrating especially when you need hot water at night and in the morning. I don't mind staying again because the location is good.…
We stayed for 7 Nights. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was great with a lot of variety. The hotel and rooms were clean, but I wish I could have swum... The sun sets at about 22:00, but the swimming pool closes earlier in the holiday season at 20:30... I feel it should be open later in the holiday times, especially when it is so hot (since there was a heat wave)... And you go out during the day to see the country, you do not wanna stay in the hotel just to swim... That's what you want to do after gallivanting the whole day in Spain to rest your feet and cool off!!!
We arrived at the hotel aromatic midday and time to explore the area before a visit to the Lladró factory. The hotel was well situated, near public transport to easily access the city center. The hotel was clean, quiet and with friendly staff. Breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold foods. Will use this hotel again
