The pension is fine. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and speak good English. It is not great as a stopover for the Camino Ingles. Firstly it is 2kms off the Camino and secondly the road is busy and noisy. Rather press on if you can and stay at Casa Rural DonaMaria in A Rua!

After a long days walking in not the most pleasant of weather we (Four of us) arrived rather wet and tired. The owner took our wet coats and boots from us and asked if we would like to go straight to the rooms or sit and have a drink. We opted for the drink. After a few more drinks we...

Hotel is a bit walk from the Camino Ingles route, few hundred meters after Alberque at Hospital de Bruma turn right to the straightforward 2 km long road to Meson Do Vento and just at the crossroad with the main road on right side you can find it. City is not interesting at all, but all you need is rest...

A great relief to come across this affordable pension. In fact, I would class it as a good 3 star hotel, with good bathrooms and linen. Nice people too. Good eating on the other side of the road. Only downside is that its a hike from the albergue but they are happy to pick you up if you've had enough...

Sadly, despite being noted in CJS guides as a budget option for Pilgrims when the Albergue in Bruma is full, rooms at Pension O Meson Novo are now overpriced for the area. The standard of accommodation is acceptable; nothing special. I cited CJS in my enquiry for a single room, and noted that I was walking the Camino Ingles. I...

A family run small hotel situated in Meson do Vento/Ordes. Spotlessly clean. We found ourselves in this hotel which is about a couple of miles from the albergue of Bruma on the Camino ingles and on the way if you are coming from Coruña. The owners are welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble, Antonio was kind enough to...

We were made so welcome in this family run pension. Our rooms were bordering on the luxurious after our 28K hike on the Camino Ingles. We were directed to the hotel opposite the establishment for our Pilgrim Dinner which was excellent and great value. The owners of the pension served a lovely breakfast next morning as they indicated the continuing...

Such a shame that this isn't well signposted and, in a day of deluging rain and a long struggling walk, I would have hoped to find this place was closer than another 2km off the trail. Overall, though, the facilities were good and the couple helpful in drying saturated backpack of clothes before setting off next day.

After a long day walking in very inclement weather,, we arrived at Pension O Meson Novo wet and exausted. The welcome we recieved was second to none. Our wet coats, rucksacks and boots were taken from us to dry and we were shown to a table to enjoy a well earned beer (An ice cold in Alice moment). Sighs of...

Not really much to add to all the excellent reviews so far. Just to say we agree completely. Staying here is one of the highlights of walking the Camino Inglés. Of course what sets it apart is the kindness and friendliness of the family owners, which even the torrential rain and storm force winds couldn't dampen!
